Updated on recent visit 2023/07 Hugely disappointed when the babyccino we ordered only had approx 1/7 cup of milk and the rest all foam. The cup almost felt like it had nothing in it. When enquired with the staff, I was simply informed “that’s what a babyccino is”…. I am sorry, but we’ve ordered babyccino so frequent from all over the place and has never had this ridiculous serving… almost an empty cup! We won’t ever be returning. The cafe on the other end of the complex serves proper babyccino!
Discovered this place when we were heading towards another cafe in the same complex and decided to give it a go. Cannot be happier with the new choice. Sufficient parking outside, neat and tidy dining area. Staff at counter was very friendly and gave a great vibe for the overall experience. We ordered a Full Greco on a Pan to share as we don’t normally eat much for breakfast and a coffee each. Good portion for the serving size and coffee had great taste but temperature was too cold for my liking. Next time I’ll have to remember to ask for extra hot (hopefully it won’t have burnt coffee taste). We asked for coffee to be in takeaway cups and the cup is just super adorable, we’d come back for more just because of it. Staff came to lower the blind slightly so the sun wasn’t in our eyes which is very observant and...
Read moreWe found our little hidden "gem" after searching to find the right local dinner spot to celebrate my hubby's 70th birthday. There were smiles all round. Not only ours but from other patrons and the welcoming and very friendly and attentive family owners and staff. I've cooked many yummy Greek meals over the years so I know authentic Greek food and El Greco didn't disappoint. We ordered Plate Me Ups, Seafood Combos, a kid's chicken meal and Haloumi fries which we couldn't eat fast enough. Each mouthful a little slice of heaven, so delicious! Portions were very generous and salads so fresh like they were picked from a garden out back. Couldn't eat all mine so had them package up the rest, way too good to leave behind. Full or not there's always room for coffee and dessert right? Greek coffees, Galatobourekos, Baklavias plus Shortbreads and Kataifis to take home because we just had to try them all. What a great night. No frills restaurant, just a genuine warm and friendly atmosphere, like dining with family and friends at home. My hubby was a little chuffed when his dessert came with a candle and birthday song. Seems our chef can sing as well as cook. Absolutely we'll go back. Breakfast, lunch and more dinners to look forward too. Thank you! Stin yeia mas! (To...
Read moreI had the El Greco Pita smacks lips together. I never would have thought that chips in a wrap would taste so damn good, obviously I've led a sheltered life up until this point! 😂 It was really delicious from top to bottom. It held the perfect ratio of ingredients and it was really flavoursome!
I also enjoyed the Apple, Ginger, Celery juice (Rise & Shine I think it's called) YUM! The ginger packs a punch without being too much, the celery is obvious without tasting too "green" (if that makes sense) and the apple really tied it all together. Delish.
To top it all off, I got a piece of caramel slice to take away and it was hands down the greatest caramel slice I've ever eaten.
You won't regret going there,...
