Went there with my son for lunch. Place empty. Well thats ok..happens. We ordered Eggs Benedict mine with Salmon his ham. For drinks a cappucino and for me a mango smoothie. The smoothie came first. Straw so narrow you couldn't suck it up. Ok no problem just take off the lid..drink from the plastic cup. Hmm smoothie tasteless. Son confirmed. Next we are told..sorry there are no muffins. Ok my son is ok with toast. Oh and sorry, no salmon. Sheesh starting to feel a little annoyed since I'd already paid. Feel like skipping it all entirely but son encourages me to eat. He doesnt want to eat alone. So i order Caesar salad with Calamari. Do i want chicken in my caesar. What??? No of course i dont. Its going to have seafood. I wish i had just skipped it. The salad was tired..too .uch stringy bacon..a tiny drizzle of dressing. The calamari was foul. Loaded with salt, thin and overcooked. More like crisps than..well im not sure there was any seafood in there. Asked my son how he was enjoying his meal? He had left most of his on the plate and i was surprised because he had been really hungry. He said the sauce ..what is it..hollandaise? Was totally tasteless. Bread stale and eggs over-cooked Best part of $50 and a total waste of money....

The counter itself just looks old and so does the restaurant environment. Staff were polite but the lack of enthusiasm or just general energy in a working environment was uncomfortable.
I must say that my coffee was lovely though and maybe I just caught them on a...
Read moreWe came here for breakfast, a family of four. 1 full toolbox, 1 half toolbox, 1 Eggs Benedict and a bacon roll. Poached eggs on Benny were (by our tastes) overcooked. This was mentioned to waitress who immediately apologised, took the plate away and offered free drinks. A few minutes later a fresh plate was delivered to the table and the eggs were good. One of us had swapped the eggs for mushrooms due to an allergy. Many cafes don't seem willing to do this these days. Apart from the initial egg problem the food was good. The service was brilliant. The benches are a little uncomfortable. The prices were reasonable. The setting is what it is......a shopping centre in Quinns. We would be happy to...
