Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant and Cafe — Restaurant in Western Australia

Possibly the worst dining experience I have had in years.

It was a Monday night and not so busy.

I got there at 6.40pm to meet family. My brother had ordered a lasso shortly after he got there at 6.30 pm.

By 6.50pm he didn't have his drink and nobody had attended to us. I went to the bar and requested to order a drink which took another 10 mins.

None of the empty glasses nor consumed food plates from the entree were taken from our table for over 30 mins, so I had to clear our table myself and put the empty drink glasses/plates on another table.

We asked if we could possibly order a half serve of Momos and were informed we could.

We eventually got our main meals after 8.15pm. It was decent although the Chef's Special entree is madly overpriced for the tiny portions of meat we got.

On our way out we found out we were charged for a full serve of Momos, despite being told we could order a half serve.

And when we asked if the leftovers could be frozen, we were told they were frozen and defrosted to begin with so we could not refreeze it.

We spent $150 for 3 people. For a basic meal and drink. No dessert. Shared entree between 3 ppl.

No. This is NOT OK owners. I will not...

Have eaten in and ordered takeaway a few times. The food is pricey but usually quite good.

Made an order via uber eats; they forgot one dish. They also sent the wrong naan order but I let this go. On phoning them about the paid for missing dish the staff were abrupt and rude, firstly questioning whether I had actually just miss counted and then asking if i could pick up myself! - why would i bother getting delivery then have to collect?!

They did, after a blunt exchange of words, agree to deliver the single missing dish, but there was no apology, no gesture of goodwill etc.

Feels like this place is more about money and turnover, not much pride or interest in good service. doubt we’ll ever...

It was one of them nights pondering what to eat. We came to the decision to pick up a curry on our way home for an early night. When we ordered online a few minutes passed and unfortunately our sharer for two wouldnt have enough beef. Not to worry the still had plenty of other options such as Goat. When we arrive and walked into the aromatic walk cosy restaurant I knew we'd made a mistake by not dining in. The woman behind the counter was lovely and smiley and the whole place had a wonderful vibe. It was early on a thursday but the few tables that were occupied were filled with laughter shared between waitresses and customers. The food knocked me for six, b e a utiful. We'll be back...
