I submitted feedback on 1st November regarding my experience at this location. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a response, which has left me feeling further disappointed with the service.
The lack of acknowledgment both during my visit and in addressing my feedback suggests a disregard for both food delivery couriers and customers. Based on my experience, I find it difficult to recommend this location to others, as the quality of service and customer care does not meet expectations.
Below was my feedback: "Dear Hungry Jack’s Customer Service Team,
I am reaching out to share my recent experience as an Uber Eats courier at your Beldon location on the 1st November. I arrived at 7:17 pm to pick up an order and noticed the drive-through was busy, with several customers ahead of me, including another food delivery courier. I waited in the designated area without any acknowledgment for about 15 minutes, which initially didn’t bother me as I was occupied with paperwork on my phone.
However, after waiting for 30 minutes without any acknowledgment, I began to feel dissatisfied, especially since none of the other 8–10 customers waiting in-store received any updates or assistance either.
I approached a young lady wearing a Hungry Jack’s hat with short, curly blonde hair and politely inquired about the status of the order. She looked at the monitor in front of her but did not respond. Understanding that it was a busy time, I gave it some time before trying again. When I repeated my question, she still didn’t respond, which was frustrating after nearly 40 minutes of waiting.
Feeling overlooked and unvalued, I calmly mentioned to her that acknowledging waiting customers would be helpful, especially during busy periods. She gave me a nod, but unfortunately, no further assistance was provided. Eventually, at 8:00 pm, I decided to unassign the order.
As a courier, my experience affects both my performance and your customers’ satisfaction. I believe a simple acknowledgment or update on wait times could significantly improve the experience for everyone involved. Read moreHave been twice in last few days as I was wanting to try the fairy floss storm - both times the ice machine has not been working, cashier first time initially told me he couldn’t refund my app order but was then corrected by a manager. Second time (tonight) was an absolute joke, I waited 25 minutes in line blocked by other cars who were all tired of waiting aswell, waited at the speaker box - no response, get to the cashier window and while I waited I saw two employees at different points one standing there with an empty cardboard box and another with broom while there is at least 6 cars in line all having waited there for 15+ minutes, manager seemed to be the only one actually doing his job. Ended up waiting 25 minutes in line to not be able to get what I ordered so I left and waited around 3 minutes at Joondalup hungry jacks with the service being 10x better and the ice cream machine actually working. Read moreMy partner I just came back from having our meal at HJs two young girls standing at the counter I thought they were customers instead one ended up working there she told the manager that her friend wants to work there so an application was handed to her friend, they both sat down to fill it out together but in the meantime they were given drinks and burgers no money exchanged hands and while the other girl was being interviewed the girl who supposedly works there saunters behind the counter where the crew works and chats to the other young employees, so I stood up and asked for an application form and the girl just scoffed ,thinking it was for me... The management team obviously allow this kind of behaviour, unruly, undisciplined and quite clearly doesn't care, he in turn left for the day and handed over to his assistant manager..Not a good look for Hungry Jack's way too many young people who turn out to be ALL friends who just stand around and give out freebies to others who come...
