Terrible experience! I came here on the 4th July 2020 circa 12pm (the delay in writing a review was due to time and account login issues) but this needs to be said.
I am not sure if the young man who was on at the time was the manager/assistant/2IC, but he is in desperate need of Customer Service training! Understandably, I came through the drive through at peak hour and always expect delays, but I would have had to be in the drive-through line for about 20 minutes. There was a car directly in front of me with 8 or so people in, so again I expect delays on them receiving their order and I was patient and understanding that their orders would take time.
After they had received their order and left the drive-in, and I was next up to receive my order, this gentleman immediately said I had to go in the waiting bay for my small grilled chicken burger meal (no apology offered for the wait) again, I was patient and understanding and proceeded to wait in the bay. I would have to say 15-20 minutes went past and I still had not received my order, yet the cars all lined up behind me were all exiting the drive-in with their meals in hand. I assumed at this stage my meal had been misplaced...
At this stage I had lost my patience and got out of my car went inside and waited to speak to someone at the counter. The (who I assumed was) the manager looked at me and knew I had been waiting. Still not an apology or word from him. My meal after few minutes was bagged up by himself and he proceeded to go outside to deliver it to ME. He completely disregarded or had forgotten I was waiting in line and not in my car... I had to stop him in his tracks and ask him, "Is this the grilled chicken burger meal?" to which he without any emotion or again, no apology offered said "oh yeah". I basically snatched the meal out of his hands and left in a huff. You would expect that with the delay you would at least receive something free but no, I ended up with a less than satisfactory sloppy burger and chips.
I understand everyone makes mistakes especially in peak hour times. But an apology costs nothing, and if you are taught anything in fast food service is that the customer is always right. Atrocious customer service, and will not...
Read moreDreadful service. Insolent staff. Firstly after repeating the order at the window they repeated it wrong. Was not told the price at the speaker either. I waited more than 14 minutes before I honked to get the staff attention I could see inside that at least 4 ordered were made before mine . When I asked how long a staff member huffed and walked off speaking to a senior staff member. Eventually after a second honk they said they had mixed up the order said did I want an upgrade? Knowing thses burgers should have been almost burnt to a crisp in this time I refused. I got the order and pulling out of the drive thru felt the food all 5 burgers were less than blood heat temperature. I got them home and to be honest they looked liked they'd been cooked yesterday and not heated let's get to the regular chips in the cardboard box.. I could literally count them completely cold and rank salt. Thankyou for putting three serviettes in the bag. But I'd have preferred to get the burger I ordered as it should have been a BBQ cheeseburger has BBQ sauce. I stated to the girl as she handed my food over I could have cooked a Frozen pizza in this time. Nothing was said no apology nothing. Terrible service .. cold food and not what was ordered or paid for. I'd have phoned to make the complaint but it goes nowhere. I'm sure there would be mandatory heating leverls for meat products. All round bad. I'd love to hear the Manager's response. I would produce the receipt but I didn't get that. Was about 19.30 pm ...
Read moreThird time in three weeks our family have had poor customer service from the new management at Hungry Jacks Bull Creek. Food service quality has gone downhill, meals are slapdash and cold or really unpleasantly put together. The staff are great, understanding, but their hands are tied, the new management is terrible! The new lady manager (franchise owner?) has been extremely unhelpful for complaints and keeps insisting everything is 'now the way it should be' and 'we dont do that here' and 'other stores shouldnt do that' when you ask for something like an ice cream cone in a lid if you have a child with a gluten intolerance for example (and no we dont want to just 'buy a plain sundae'! As a toddler sized serve in a cone is enough icecream as an afternoon treat, thanks!). Not just icecreams, no help changing meals if the product has been handed over cold or just thrown together not as ordered. Any complaints or questions and this lady manager says flat out that nothing will happen unless you 'come inside and wait' which, with an obviously full back seat full of children in the carseats, including infants napping is an obvious brushoff and going to be a no too. Poor service, no manners and completely dismissive of anyone who says anything in complaint. Feel so sorry for the local kids who work at this store now. Who all seem resigned to this ladys horrible attitudes towards customers. Have driven straight to McDonalds afterwards and received excellent customer service and manners and zero issues with...
