Hungry Jack's Burgers Glengarry — Restaurant in Western Australia

Let’s start off by saying I am utterly disturbed and disgusted at the state of the food I received. My friend and I thought we scored a bargain for a cheeseburger super stunner meal for $6.95 from the shake and win. We thought it was an absolute steal, but oh how we were wrong. I will start off by saying that the service form the young girl was amazing she was really sweet, but if I find out she is the one who made any part of my meal I will be revoking that statement. First issue was the cleanliness of this “restaurant”. It was FILTHY, food, wrappers, straws, napkins you name it, it was on the tables and even the floor. The chairs were not even slightly aligned with the tables, they were practically in the middle of the walk-way. The counter where you ordered was filthy and the straw dispenser was truly horrific, I guarantee it has not been cleaned in at least a month. The first sip of my drink was WARM, not even remotely cold, when I took off the lid there was 4 ice cubes. The drinks had also been sitting on the bench for quite some time before they were given to us, the lids looked disgusting they were covered in liquid, very unappealing. First we ate our nuggets which were fine, just regular nugs. The chips were cold and a bit hard and had absolutely no salt on them. The cheeseburger is where things really take a turn. I wish I took a photo of this monstrosity. For starters it looked like someone had squeezed it together from anger, I can tell it was old based on the coldness, and the fact that the sauce had already soaked into the bun. It was mushy and soggy. It seems as if someone made it by mistake for another order and then just thought “hey you know what, I will put this hour old burger into these lovely customers orders” I was genuinely lost for words at the time. The whole meal was appalling. Stale is what I call it. We thought hungry jacks would be something different from our typical McSmart Meal we ordered from McDonalds. Instead it was filth. We ended up getting a McSmart Meal anyway to satisfy ourselves. So no, the burgers are in fact not better at Hungry Jacks. It will take some serious convincing to ever make me...

I have never had a worse experience at a fast food restaurant than what just transpired tonight

We order on the app for in-store pickup while on our way to the restaurant and upon pulling in we find that the outside front-area is being remodeled so we are forced to go through the drive through, which isn't bad in and if itself, but starts the dominos toppling over

It took us 10-15 minutes just to get to the ordering station because the drive through was packed with cars and confused people trying to get their orders. Upon receiving our food 5 minutes later it was obvious they prepared it right away instead of waiting for us to reach the ordering station as the fries were cold, the ice cream was melted, the burgers barely warm, and the ice in the soda was completely melted

The restaurant was in such shambles that an Uber driver walked up the drive through the wrong way to get to the window, clearly confused as to what they were supposed to do

To top all of this off, they gave us a broken drink tray which spilled soda all over our car when they handed it to us, but they were too frantic inside to even notice and we were too upset and hungry to want to sit there any longer and wait for a manager

I can look past the long wait, I could even look past the poor decision making when it comes to when they made the food, but it is absolutely unacceptable that they gave us a clearly broken drink tray and didn't notice that it spilled all over us in the car

I was so upset I can barely remember eating my food, and I can honestly say that I won't be eating at any Hungry Jack's in the future unless there is literally no other...

Ordered via the App at 5.30pm on a Thursday. The order was for a whopper with cheese, Jacks chicken burger & a frozen coke. Was asked to wait in the waiting bay as the chicken burger wasn’t ready. I waited in the bay as requested but after 20 minutes, walked inside to find out what the delay was. At first they couldn’t find the order and when they did, made up the chicken burger fairly quickly. I took my order & drove home, 5 minutes away. The did give 2 free chips for the delay. When I went to eat my whopper, I found that it was made when I first placed the order and was stone cold after sitting there for 20 to 30 minutes. Thought they might make me a fresh burger after that long a wait. Couldn’t be bothered driving back to get a new one, so put it in the microwave to warm it up a bit. Not very appetising at all. Not good enough Hungry Jacks Glengarry. It might be worth the extra 10 minute drive to Karrinyup or Whitfords. But very doubtful I’ll go to Glengarry again. I think this is my first ever 1 star review but it is thoroughly deserved in this case. Chicken...
