I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Jindalee Beach Shack, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect.

The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It's clear that the chefs at Jindalee Beach Shack are passionate about their craft, as every bite was a delight.

One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with a breathtaking view of the ocean. It truly felt like a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beachside setting, coupled with the fresh sea air, created the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.

I also appreciated the family and dog-friendly environment. It's evident that Jindalee Beach Shack prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming to all guests.

Overall, I cannot recommend Jindalee Beach Shack highly enough. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food, stunning views, and genuine hospitality. Without a doubt, I would rate my experience 5 out...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Laid-Back Vibes & Ocean Views – A Local Favourite!

Jindalee Beach Shack is the perfect coastal escape – relaxed, friendly, and set right by the water with unbeatable views of the Indian Ocean. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back with great food, a good coffee (or cold drink), and watch the waves roll in.

The menu offers a fantastic mix of fresh, casual fare – from loaded brekkie rolls and vibrant smoothie bowls to fish tacos, burgers, and fresh salads. Everything is made with care and full of flavour. The coffee is consistently great, and the range of smoothies and juices is ideal for a warm day by the beach.

What really makes this spot special is the atmosphere. It’s dog-friendly, family-friendly, and has that laid-back, surf-side charm that makes you feel like you're on holiday, even if you’re just popping in after a morning walk.

The staff are always cheerful and welcoming, and service is quick even when it’s busy – which it often is, for good reason!

If you haven’t visited yet, make sure you do. Jindalee Beach Shack is a true coastal gem – the kind of place you’ll want to return to...

The JBS is a great location and dog friendly which I loved. I had the bacon benny bagel which was delicious. I added a hash brown and sausage (for my dog) and they were $5 each extra which I thought was a little steep. My breakfast for 1 with a smoothie was just shy of $50 all up. To me, that’s an expensive breakfast. The service was a little blasè. The staff were friendly enough but not particularly attentive. When my friend ordered food, she wasn’t asked a table number, so when her food came out, the waiter was just wandering around not sure where it went. We had to call him over. Then she had to ask where her hot chocolate in a mug was, 1/2 way through her breakfast. They’d made it but didn’t know where it was so had just left it behind the counter in a take away cup. When I ordered I told the waiter my table number and asked for my smoothie in a take away cup. It came in a glass. All in all, the food was nice but service could have...

Staff are friendly and view was nice. 😊 I visited today on a normal winter Saturday with great sunny weather and no crazy wind. I was trying to get breakfast around 12 pm and also wanted to enjoy the ocean view with sun that I ran around the area for a while and rushed from The Breach House to this The Beach Shack to try my luck 😂. While the kitchen had packed away most of the breakfast stuff (egg and avocado) the counter guy was nice, asked for me and let me know what I could still order. :) I eventually got a satisfying breakfast with nice view and weather. 🥰 two more floor staff that I encountered with both answered to my request nicely (clean my table and where to get cutlery and water)😊 and there were so many cute and happy doggos around 😍🥰🐶🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺🐾 and of course nice ocean viewing deck and walk just in front 🌊🌱

This place is a cafe, not sure why I’m being asked how the rooms were 😅 but the food was tasty, but a little overpriced for how much we needed to do ourselves. I had an iced latte and I’m glad I said no cream and go easy on the icecream. It’s a very rich drink! The view is also nice, you are right on the beach and there’s a play park for the kids just near it. The toilets, which I assume are part of public beach facilities, were a bit gross. We didn’t have anyone come and ask how our meals were. We also had to grab cutlery from a communal box of cutlery which I didn’t enjoy because others would have touched it to get theirs. I’d prefer a more sanitary provision of cutlery on each table.

Miraculously this great local spot was deserted this afternoon. We had it all to ourselves apart from a few passers by. We were greeted by the always friendly staff and I chose the seafood grill. Grilled fish scallops calamari and mussels in a delicious garlic tomato and chilli sauce light and not greasy. Not too spicy with a salad. YUM for $28.00 great value. My partener had the normal battered fish and chips and said it was very good. Table service lattes and fresh water for the dogs watching the storm coming in over the ocean 5 mins from home couldnt be better.
