Jindalee Beach Shack is the perfect coastal escape – relaxed, friendly, and set right by the water with unbeatable views of the Indian Ocean. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back with great food, a good coffee (or cold drink), and watch the waves roll in.

The menu offers a fantastic mix of fresh, casual fare – from loaded brekkie rolls and vibrant smoothie bowls to fish tacos, burgers, and fresh salads. Everything is made with care and full of flavour. The coffee is consistently great, and the range of smoothies and juices is ideal for a warm day by the beach.

What really makes this spot special is the atmosphere. It’s dog-friendly, family-friendly, and has that laid-back, surf-side charm that makes you feel like you're on holiday, even if you’re just popping in after a morning walk.

The staff are always cheerful and welcoming, and service is quick even when it’s busy – which it often is, for good reason!

The JBS is a great location and dog friendly which I loved. I had the bacon benny bagel which was delicious. I added a hash brown and sausage (for my dog) and they were $5 each extra which I thought was a little steep. My breakfast for 1 with a smoothie was just shy of $50 all up. To me, that’s an expensive breakfast. The service was a little blasè. The staff were friendly enough but not particularly attentive. When my friend ordered food, she wasn’t asked a table number, so when her food came out, the waiter was just wandering around not sure where it went. We had to call him over. Then she had to ask where her hot chocolate in a mug was, 1/2 way through her breakfast. They’d made it but didn’t know where it was so had just left it behind the counter in a take away cup. When I ordered I told the waiter my table number and asked for my smoothie in a take away cup. It came in a glass. All in all, the food was nice but service could have...
