Updated Review I have to downgrade my review of this place unfortunately. We are locals and come here about once or twice a month, sometimes we eat in, sometimes we collect as takeaway and go home. The quality is very hit and miss but we got used to it. Sometimes good, sometimes pretty average, but tonight was terrible. We actually through both burgers in the bin after two bites, the meat was awful, had a very unpleasant old beef taste. They were so bad I politely called the shop and told them, and all the lady could say was “that’s odd, but thanks for your feedback, goodbye”. A very bad service recovery strategy. If we were eating in store I would have asked the chef to take a bite and ask for a refund. They were disgusting… It’s really a pity as this is a good local business to have in the suburb.
Original Review
New burger place/ sports bar in Butler. Great local addition to the food scene. Guys have only been open a couple days so still finding their feet, but the burgers we had were sensational and I’ll definitely come back. Great local business to come and support.
Hope you guys also start...
Read moreListen, I don’t know who these "4 Mates" are, but if they were my friends, I’d probably unfriend them. Walking into this place, I immediately realized I was surrounded by a team of amateurs. The moment I sat down, I was greeted by a waiter who looked like he’d just learned what a napkin was, and he definitely had no clue what a spoon was for.
Let's talk about the ambiance. It’s like they took a bland, uninspired shopping mall food court, threw in some sad fake plants, and called it "cozy." The lighting? Oh, don’t even get me started. It was like they were trying to create "romantic" vibes but accidentally turned the place into a fluorescent nightmare. I half expected the ceiling lights to start flickering as I tried to escape.
Now, the food. Oh, the food. It’s as if they took every dish from the frozen section of a supermarket and microwaved it in front of me. My pasta tasted like it had been prepared by someone who had only heard of pasta but had never eaten it. The “sauce” was more of a vague suggestion of flavor, like if someone whispered “tomato” into the pasta's ear but never actually brought the...
Read moreThe food was nice but the wait time was ridiculous, we waited 45 minutes just for the drinks and it was only after my partner went up and asked if they were still coming that they eventually brought them out. Almost an hour and a half for one meal to come out (there were five of us). My friend ordered a gluten free pizza only to be told after 2 of the meals had already come out that they currently don’t have the gluten free bases so she had to choose something else, by the time the last meal came out we had been waiting nearly 2 hours! My 2 year old by this point was unsettled and irate because we had been waiting so long and it was almost her bedtime. Had we known about the stupidly long wait time we would have never gone here. They have a little play area for kids so naturally I assumed they had all facilities to accommodate children but they don’t, no parents room or any change tables to change children, leaving me to go and change my daughter in the car, what kind of restaurant doesn’t have changing facilities for babies/toddlers? Definitely will...
