Sadly this place has been steadily going downhill for awhile now.. the dishes we got tonight were.. they weren't bad. But they were no different to what we can make at home too. It just seemed a waste. The flavour wasn't deep or nuanced, there was no sign of high heat that their food used to have.. one of the things which are hard to replicate at home is really high heat in large wok. It was totally missing.. the honey chickens was also very heavy on the batter, like it's usually a slightly higher batter dish honestly but the average piece was 60% batter minimum which is taking it a little too far.. it was lacking honey sauce too. We had a meal here a week ago, it was absolutely fabulous, so good that we didn't bother cooking Sunday dinner this week, we had a take away, same meal as the week before. there the resemblance ended, the rice was different, the Kwai Teow was disgusting, tasted like stale roast beef, inedible, the Satay king Prawns were hard, and watery, didn't taste like satay at all. Ordered to collect Crispy beef chef special, soggy and no taste, chicken chilli the same! Singapore noodles just noodles onions and a bit of meat no shrimp or flavour When we called to say it was not nice ‘sunny’ said that occasionally you get a meal that is not up to standard, it’s pot luck!!!
