Zambrero Jindalee — Restaurant in Western Australia

Bad experience lastnight... Young girl forgot 1 of two buritos ordered by my son so whilst she had put 1st in toaster, she started my order... during this, a young guy stepped in after he finished a customer ahead & my son reordered his burito with him. She kept making mine but when the guy got up to salad end with 2nd burito, she then started rudely placing things onto my sons burito whacked a spoon of sourcream & guac on, pressed it with spoon, then threw a pinch of cheese on it, all the time not finishing mine. Then an old guy came out & started going at this guy aswell, I dont know how this guy works with these two hovering over him. He was the only one that made our food properly he literally redid what she had thrown on & had the best attitude, I was literally in shock. She then walked off out back so he finished off & rang up the order, we added two drinks & thanked him for everything. I wont have her make any food for us again. I would gladly be served by this young guy again, he did a great job with great service & what we are used to, as our old local Innaloo Branch is top notch for service everytime. My hubby loves Zambrero and really happy to see Jindalee store opened. However his experience today at store really let him down. He went to drive through at 1pm, placed order of Beef Nachos and asked to drive forward to park in the bay and someone will deliver the order. He waited 20 mins but one showed up, he went in the store requested refund. Manager was handling the refund and asked ‘ was it chicken nachos’ ?! no apologies was offered. What is worse is the refund turned out to be another charge on our card. Had to go back store for our refunds, staff onsite was so untrained and have to call store manage for instructions. We just lost the tiny confident left and asked for cash instead. My hubby was angry and upset, it wasted his time, drive through suppose to save time isn’t it? Jess and I got vegan bowls from Zambrero—one with pinto beans and verde sauce, the other with black beans and hot chili. Super fresh, hearty, and delicious. Great portion size too. Had to call out a few times at the front counter as it was unattended. Otherwise, the food came out pretty quick. The restaurant is nice and tidy, but there is Indian music playing in the restaurant - it doesn't really fit the vibe of a Mexican establishment.
