My friend suffers from a condition called Hypoproteinemia. Long story short itโ€™s a protein deficiency with in the body, most of her meals require extra forms of protein. Basically Kanta has appalling customer service, unable to accomodate any simple customer request in regards to dietary needs and individual requirements.

Asked for extra chicken (protein) in which we would pay extra, but was refused even after explaining the reason. They said we would have to buy an entire extra meal.

The Intolerance this shop holds for customers needs is horrid, all in an attempt to increase their profit by forcing you to buy an extra meal when its not required.

All we wanted was an extra serve of chicken to facilitate the requirements due to a medical...

Simply the best.

Delectable, authentic, yet affordably-priced Japanese food served right here at Kanta. We have been coming to Kanta for a few years now (doing both dining-in and takeaway) and have never been let down once.

Despite the simple decor and quaint location, this unadorned place is guaranteed to impress. The chef hand-makes all his food to order and while it may sometimes take longer than usual for all your dishes to arrive, it is always well worth the wait.

I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki, scallop wrapped in salmon with wasabi mayo (one of kantaโ€™s signature dishes), and Kantaโ€™s deep...

A cosy and serene place. Loving their tounge dishes, soft and flavoursome. We had the premium tounge for an extra $5.

The squid is a must try, it has perfect chewiness and that wok hei aroma which gives more yummy taste.

I tried the unagi, it tastes similar with other unagi from other places, the difference is this one has a rather high price.

A friend recommended me to try the agadeshi tofu. I too recommend this now, the soft tofu has a perfect companion of the tasty sauce.

The place is great for a small group.

There're a few dishes I will need to try, so definitely a revisit is...

First time trying, got takeaway. Cons: - vegetable croquettes (2pcs) was nice but sad portion of 1 disc cut into 2. - karaage chicken mostly batter, meat still bright pink, microwaved it for a minute and still slightly pink - teriyaki chicken also bit pink - agedashi tofu is the rougher harder kind, not silken - seems like they use the same tonkatsu dipping sauce for a lot of the dishes Pros: - the California roll is enticingly made but colour of tamogoyaki a little off, probably ratio of egg not high enough - prawn balls were tasty though small

Very small place, most of the people booking, luckily we got walk in early. Tried their grill squid tasted okay not enough seasoning, their red salmon scallop good perfectly cooked. Their Unagi nice but smaller size for main. Their highlight is their Duck steak perfect cooked duck with great sauce, but it in the menu should be written comes with bean sprout and mushroom. Overall good food. I don't give 5 stars because service bit too slow took about 1 hour for main course arrived.
