Misto Food and Coffee — Restaurant in Western Australia

As someone who enjoys breakfast out in Fremantle, Misto is somewhere I had wanted to visit for a while - especially given the rating and reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. My partner and I popped in for breakfast. She ordered mushrooms with spinach on sourdough. I ordered scrambled eggs on sourdough with mushrooms. Plus two medium lattes. The food arrived on two side plates. Mushrooms were very salty and quite watery. And piling everything on the toast meant it was soggy. My own eggs were OK, but I have had far better in Fremantle at places like Elsie and the Cool Room. In the end, neither of us could finish our food; nor the coffee. While the owner was friendly, the table service was a bit cold and the chef looked a touch stressed when we arrived. So, we can at least tick Misto off. But we won't be coming back....

Amazing gluten free and fresh homemade food for all tastes and diets.....I tend to visit here at least once a week to stock up on supplies. The salad is the best as are the numerous GF options. It's a husband and wife team who are so down to earth and friendly. Please keep the place to yourselves as it's rare to find a gem like this, and we don't want it to change. Best coffee shop in the melville-palmyra area. Great coffees, teas, and cakes.... always changing. What especially caught my eye was their support of the community where a family were selling the entertainment book for their special needs daughter. It made me support them and so I bought a book. Very friendly staff...
