First star ⭐️ goes to the Friendliness of the staff and location this little hidden gem situated on Peninsula Road in Maylands quite area situated meters from wet land you can hear the wild life and on a picturesque walk. Parking out front for 25 or so cars. Or walk here as it’s not far from the river. Second star ⭐️ the food I ordered the big breakfast 🍳 this French Canadian run Restaurant does not disappoint when it comes to breakfast, when they say big they mean it, the juice as well was huge and I didn’t have to tell them to hold the Ice. 3x large sausages, 4x rations of bacon two eggs Sunnyside up (and they didn’t ask me “what’s that”) what looked like 2x full tomatoes, home cooked potatoes, 2 x eggs and the best bread I’ve had in a cafe since leaving home. Third star ⭐️ value for money, large juice and BBF $32.50 I won’t eat until the evening Loss of a 💫 for over cooking the eggs shouldn’t need a knife to cut your eggs, but they were sunny side up, having worked in a restaurant the girl was too hot. Fifth star ⭐️ for over all performance well worth the journey if your in the area or you want to go out of your way any day of the week for breakfast which is served all day it...
Read moreI had breakfast here early on a Saturday morning with a group of 4 people. We were there ten minutes after opening so it was still very quiet, only one other group there. The parking was easy although if it was busy, you may find it hard to get a spot.
The cafe is spacious and the seating is comfortable. The plants and colour palette with a lot of wooden features make it a very relaxing vibe. We were greeted and given menus and then allowed to choose where we sat when we arrived. I was tossing up what to choose from the menu and then decided to check the cabinet. I ordered a slice of gingerbread and a coffee.
Our drinks were delivered to our table shortly after we ordered and our food came soon after that. It was quick enough that none of us were looking at the time. Our drinks were great (tried tea, coffee, juice and chai). The food was fresh and hot and we had no complaints about our dishes.
Two kids were helping out, they were very polite, helpful and careful. 5 stars for their...
Read moreI have a feeling this little place isn't going to remain a local secret forever. The food is outstanding, the menu diverse, portions generous and the service super friendly. Coffee and a good (not just sweet brown milk) hot chocolate were quick to arrive, with our brunches following shortly after. My friend had the brioche french toast, which came laden with syrup and bacon and topped with whipped Mascarpone. I had the utterly delicious smashed avo with perfectly poached eggs, roasted baby tomatoes and sprinkled with a delicious nut/seed topping for crunch. They were kind enough to sub the on-menu ciabatta toast for their delicious hash browns which was appreciated. While Peninsula Farm will have you driving around looking for parking - likely followed by a lengthy walk from whatever space you managed to find - just pull up out the front of Noggo's instead and you won't be...
