Read moreI don’t leave reviews often, but I felt it was important management are aware. Our dining experience was great, until the end of our meal. We were welcomed by a very friendly and polite member of staff at the door who took our name. With Saturday mornings (arrived 9:15) understandably busy, we waited about 20-30 minutes for a table. The same member of staff seated us and had water and cutlery brought to the table. Our order was taken not long after by another staff member, who noted down an additional plate for sharing food without us having to ask. Great efficient service. We enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere was lovely, I was feeling happy and relaxed. My partner went to the bathroom and it was then that a member of staff asked if I was done and whether I wanted to order anything more. When I replied we were finished, she asked if I’d like to pay. I mentioned I was just waiting for my partner to come back from the bathroom. At this point, she said she could bring over the card machine…? I replied I would be fine with paying on the way out - after my partner was back from the bathroom - which was met with a slight frown? So that is when I felt she just wanted us out. I understand people were waiting for a table but we had only been seated max 30 minutes before - we had tea and shared a meal. If my partner had returned to the table and we were just continuously chatting without food, I can see how that might warrant being encouraged to leave.. but we’d just finished our meal and were about to leave anyway? Really unfortunate that they felt it necessary to go that extra step to rush us on. All the positive vibes from our dining experience gone...

Me and my wife went here because we wanted to have some scone’s. When we got here we had to wait to be seated, we wanted to be seated inside and we saw that there was no one inside so we thought we wouldn’t have to wait long. We were wrong we waited 20 minutes to be seated. When we looked at the menu to order the scones we were pretty shocked to see that they cost $14 each! For that kind of price I’m just gonna make my own. The terrible experience wasn’t over yet, when we were ready to order some lunch we went to the counter and were told some one would take our order, after waiting 30 minutes without seeing a server come anywhere near us we just decided to leave. So in total we waited about 50 minutes and didn’t even place an order, that’s pretty bad.
Owner is trying to say below that the scones are $8 per scone and that the $14 price tag includes a pot of tea. I’m gonna upload a photo of the menu where it says scones and tea are $14 pp. Any logical person would assume that pp means per person maybe it means something else. So for me and my wife to have 2 scones with some tea would cost us $28. I can’t see anywhere on the menu where it says scones cost $8 on their own. Also that means they’re charging $6 for a pot of tea, per person by the way not per pot of tea, I’ve been to places where tea is free because tea is hot water with some leafs chucked in it and is so...
