If I could give this place no stars I would! So we walk in at lunch time experting a busy place but it was empty except for two tables, a table of four and a table of two, they had eight staff members working that day so including myself and my partner the wait staff outnumbered the customers. The manager was incredibly rude to the workers in front of us, talking in a condescending manner which immediately put us on edge. When we asked which of the workers was the patisserie chef, as any place that calls itself a patisserie MUST have a certified patisserie chef, we were informed all products were made off site and shipped in. Dubious now about the quality as this was more of a store front then a bakery or patisserie we none the less purchased two sausage rolls and a bee sting cake slice (the prices were too high for something not made fresh on site.) All three items were average at best, if you make a better product in your own home its time for the store to close up and leave!!! Hours after consuming the rolls we both felt sick and queasy with bad heart burn and a need to vomit!!!! In all honesty I personally feel affronted by this farce of a shop, as someone who knows how hard it is to be qualified to as a patisserie chef (yes I have done the freaking TAFE course) they should feel ashamed; the average Joe can't walk around town claiming to be a doctor because they feel like it and this joke of a shop shouldn't be calling itself a patisserie. Save yourself sixteen dollars and buy some of the frozen pies and sausage rolls down the road, you'll more then likely be more satisfied and not end up sick and disappointed.
And for the owners of that shop I have something for you- A bakery specializing in French pastry. [French pรขtisserie, from Old French pastiserie, from pasticier, to make pastry, from *pastitz, pastry, from Vulgar Latin *pastcium, from Late Latin pasta, dough; see paste1.] NONE of your products were French nor were any of them...

I've never ordered here before as my husband previously orders for me from the other Pinjarra Bakery locations also. I don't know the menu well and it looked busy so I was struggling to figure out what they had as there were signage for items but some were sold out. When asked who's next I flagged the blonde girl with the black eyeliner. Again, I was struggling as I was ordering and while she was bagging the first item she asked if I wanted a box because I was still looking. I said yes please. She further asked what I wanted in particular in a manner to rush me, so I told her I wanted what was written on the "2 for $6" sign which listed 6 pastries. As she boxed them up, she asked if there was anything else. I asked for 3 pies. She then put it through the till, I paid, then she left to get the pies. I stood there then realised she wasn't coming back to the till, so I moved to where she was and she was rolling her eyes at me. She handed me my pies in order and I left in the car to continue our drive. As we're driving, I open the box of pastries and see only 3 inside... At this point I was mad. Not only was I served so poorly, this girl could not have the decency to communicate to me what she was unable to box from that list of pastries so I could possibly look for something else. I have a full car of hungry people but she was more concerned with getting me out the door. Firstly, the assumption she had that I should know everything walking in, but the lack of basic friendly/helpful customer service is beyond me! No greeting, manners, polite tone of voice/attitude? Forgive me if I'm wrong but those are the basic requirements for jobs like these? Along with maximising sales? Not the experience I was expecting at a reputable...
ย ย ย Read moreCame for a coffee and a pie as in area and nothing else really open, try not to come here too often as I think the pies are severely overpriced for what they are, there's much better pies elsewhere for less but anyway here I am.... So go to the counter to order only to be told we'll need to heat the pie I wanted up... ๐... Really for the price you charge all I'm getting is a frozen pie.? Sorry guys not good enough.... If I wanted a frozen pie I'll just go buy a whole pack of them from Coles... Expect better tbh especially for the price... Probably the most expensive pies in Perth. Get 2 stars only because the coffee was just ok... I didn't bother having a heated up pie for $8... Rather go hungry thanks.!
EDIT - Reviewed to 1 Star due to poor response and inability to accept accountability for a poor customer experience. Why would I take the time out of my day to make this up...? All being said all I wanted was a nice hot pie from which I was told they would need to heat it, why would they need to heat it up if it was freshly cooked and kept in a pie warmer? Based on responses to other negative reviews on here from owner, I can't say I'm surprised by this one as the owner appears to not have any ability to accept any justified critical feedback. No skin off my nose anyways... I just won't waste my hard earned $$ on overpriced food at this establishment in the future and I'll recommend people I know...
