This place was recommended to us and when we got there, there was a couple coming out which were raving about it too. :) We tried the red curry, stir fry satay sauce, curry puff and Thai drunken noodle. It all tasted really good and the portion size was great! It was fresh and the service was quick. The price is so good too! What a great meal! The interior of the restaurant was also really cute and cosy and the girl serving us was so friendly and nice. Free water for the table too. Wish I lived closer to make it a regular thing. :)

The food looked nice but didn’t taste as good as I expected. The fried rice was okay, the Pad Thai had too much tamarind flavor, and the Tom Yum was the worst — overly sour and not even close to the authentic taste. The staff were unpleasant and unfriendly (if not outright rude) when I asked for extra takeaway boxes, even though I offered to pay for them. I’d give 3 stars for the food, but only 1 star for the attitude. No reason to come back.

We ordered 12 dishes for my son’s 21st birthday on Saturday night 5 October. We preordered in advance to give the kitchen a chance to prepare given Saturday nights are usually busy for them. Food was great. No complaints. (Note we didn’t rate any stars for the atmosphere as we didn’t dine in) Thank you Pops Up for helping to make my son’s party a good night!👍🏻🙏👌😄 ⭐️ 😋🥳 🎉

Neighbourhoods always have local gems, those non-descript places only the locals know and frequent. Pops Up Thai is such a place, limited seating but takeaway the go to. Thai fish cakes with sweet chilli sauce - excellent and full of flavour masaman beef curry - authentic flavoursome dish, love the potatoes that soak up the curry, tender chunks of beef that just fall apart, superb green chicken curry - carries some real heat but compensates for the rich creamy flavour of the delicious curry and tender slices of chicken. tamarind barramundi fish fillets - tender fish deep fried in a thin crispy batter and enjoyed with a tangy sweet and sour sauce, really enjoyed this dish Thai drunken noodle with seafood - nice noodles with a variety of tender seafood cooked in chilli, garlic, and mixed veg, not too bad but needing more...

A truly excellent thai takeaway at way too cheap a price for that quality. Green curry (the flagship dish of thai cuisine) was of impeccable flavour. I selected prawns in it and was blown away by the amount and size provided. Usually thai takeaway skimp on the prawns and only get 3 or 4. There were about 10 big juicy prawns in mine. The curry puffs were delicious and the texture was perfect with puff pastry. Too many places now use shortcrust pastry which IMO is no good on savoury food at all. Just plain wrong. So these people obviously have common sense as well as a talented chef and management. I will be ordering from here no matter what suburb of Perth I'm...
