Roll'd Cockburn — Restaurant in Western Australia

Bought a Bahn mi. Got a really bad pungent taste From pork. Took one bite and Brought back literally 1 minute later and explained the situation. They guy then went and put his hands in the pork from the one being served to customers and tastes it. Told me I was not right and he had no complaints today. I told him It was really off and I asked for refund. He shouted he didn’t care and threw my roll in the bin with a lot of force, told me to leave. (No refund given !) The other day I went to Roll’d Cockburn for the first time and had an amazing experience. The lovely girl at the counter Lucy gave me exceptional service and recommended the Lemongrass Chilli Chicken. I was a bit hesitant at first because I have been disappointed by similar dishes elsewhere but wow the flavours blew me away. They balanced perfectly and totally won me over.

Being a Banh Mi tragic I wish I could leave minus stars!! I have tried many banh mi from many different Vietnamese places throughout the metropolitan area of Perth. NEVER have I thrown one in the bin until today. In hindsight due to the fact I only took two bites I should have taken it back and asked for my money back before throwing it in the bin as I did. It was truly awful!! There are so many excellent versions elsewhere DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON, EVEN IF LITERALLY STARVING TO DEATH! YES it was that bad ☹️. Where are the owners??
