We came past lone star on the 7/12 and saw a large sign out front that said "kids eat free on school holidays. So we booked for the 17/12 for dinner. I checked the website and couldn't find anything but thought would work it out when we got there. When we got there, as I was walking in, I saw the same large sign and walked over and read it "kids eat free on school holidays" and said to my partner, still the same sign. When the waiter arrived we asked her and she said yes thats right, everything but the steak on the kids menu can be ordered free with a main, but no icecream. A different lady then took our order, and she said no it $5 kids meals. When I said no, that's not right, there is a sign out the front, she then went outside and said there wasn't. I then went outside and they had changed the sign, I then had 2 of the staff tell me that it had been like that for ages, as if I was seeing things and crazy, said the signs were hard to change. The new sign was bright red opposed to the black sign that I had read and was loosely hanging off as if it had been tied on quickly, and staff member out there fixing the signs. Such a scam, they should of honoured the people that saw the sign on entry and not pretended like it was never there. I know what i saw, I checked it on the way in to be sure. They changed it while we were seated when they realised they had the wrong sign out the front when we mentioned it! It was ridiculous that they were telling me it was any different, that I had apparently imagined a sign, twice it would seem. Not impressed with being lied to my face! It's not about the money at all, it's about the pretending it wasn't there at all!

It was there the week before and it was hanging there when I walked in, its about 1.5m square, you can't miss it! Read more22/12/2022 I made a reservation by phone and informed the person that we would have a double pram and that the table needed to have access for the pram. Upon arrival, our allocated table was a booth which had no possible access for the pram. I informed the staff we would be sitting at a different table which we were able to access. We placed oir drinks and entre order. This was drlvered to the table but no effort was made to distribute the drinks to the correct people, they were just left at one end of the table. We ordered 5 main meals, steak, a burger, a parmigiana and 2 ceaser salads. Every meal was delivered to the table separately with the last only being delivered after the staff was reminded that it had not been delivered after an hour. The caeser salads were both ordered without anchovies and with chicken schnitzel. One was delivered to the table, the second was delivered to the table 25 mins later, with anchovies and no chicken. As the person ordering has a sensitivity to fish and gets quite ill, we sent this back for what we ordered. The salad was brought back with the anchovies removed however it was obvious that they have just been taken off which left black spots and a fishy smell on the eggs and lettuce. There was still no chicken, this was brought out separately about 10 mins later. This is when the reminder about the burger that was missing was made. When asked by staff if everything was alright, I made it clear that I was very unhappy with the service as it took nearly 2 hours from our booking time to receive all our ordered meals. The staff member told the manager who came out, I let her know that it wasn't good enough to have this sort of service and that the caeser salad was inedible because of the anchovies. I was told they were sorry and that it was busy. The table behind us arrived after us, got their meals and left before my burger arrived. *We accepted to seat separated as Sam convinced us even there where more than enough seats next to each other in the corner of the restaurant. Sam explained to us those seats have been booked, But nobody showed up even till 8:20pm (Considering your closing time as 9:00pm) It's hard to believe someone booked such a big number of seats for half on hour.
*Not 5 of us came in with food from outside, Only one 5 years old girl who can't pick any from your menu came with food. I believe kids are exempt everywhere. Even in the airplane or country border with the most strictly rules. tough Sam didn't let her parent to even feed her in front of the restaurant.
*Regarding the F word, I don't have any other suggestion unless ask you to check your camera's recording with sounds ON !!!
The last thing, I tried hard to talk to a manager to resolve the issue, but Sam persisting that we have to leave. I'm so sorry to hear he is a valued manager when he fails in managing the easy situation like serving 15 ppl at 7:30 pm.
Very rude manager who serves ppl like piece of sh...t. so sorry for the business owner who assigned such a mediocre manager. The manager didn't hesitate to use F words anytime anywhere even where the kids were around. We just got there at 7:30pm but seems too late for lazy ppl to serve us. We are asked to leave when our kids were waiting for the food. Never treated like this anywhere in the world.
