Visited on 9/11/20. I work for subway- this store was a mess in every way possible. The sandwich unit was a mess, all salads were mixed in with oneanother as well as the cheese and meats mixed in with everything 𤢠the onions had not been prepared properly- the core was still inside of them and the capsicum was messy as well. I got the malted rye which was stale, even after toasting, it should have been thrown out hours ago. My partner ordered a g/f wrap which was not heated up in the toaster before puting salads on it as it should be. He also ordered the wrap grilled, which they did not do and we only remembered as we sat in our car; the order was repeated back to us after we had ordered it and it was still forgotten. The amount of salads put on my footlong was a joke, they were not spread across the whole sub, instead everything was thrown in the middle, it looked worse than a dogs breakfast. When I got home I had a look and there was literally 5 spinach leaves on the entire sub and 3 slices of tomato, when a footlong needs 5-6. No one greeted us with a friendly tone, instead giving me an eye roll, everyone seemed like they just wanted to close the shop and leave. Eveyone was standing around picking thier nails, when there was only us to serve, they could have been cleaning up the sandwich unit or doing prep in the back. No one knew much about the "sink a sub" promotion, not giving me my receipt to be able to enter into the competition, I had to remember myself and go back after already leaving. The manger needs to have a serious look at who is being employed and how this store is run- it is terrible and a waste of my hard...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a shame how subways standards have dropped. I realise pace is necessary in a fast food place but so is friendliness and manners. In all business where customers are dealt with there must be respect for the customer. However it seems that this has faded in most fast food places. My foods presentation was zero. It was cold when it should have been hot and this is because it was left to stand way too long. With only 2 people to serve and prepare and take payment, then the quality goes down. The management don't seem to care about this and so the staff don't care also. Clearly hygiene goes below standard when you serve, prepare then that person takes payment. Yes gloves are worn in preparation but 1 glove is removed to take payment and held in the hand that is using the till and eftpos machine then replaced back on hand after being contaminated and preparing more food. Not only bacteria is now being spread through the food but customer service is ignored. Answer to this problem... more staff and attention to customer service. In this world of rapidly developing diseases I would have thought that management would be very concious of hygiene and customer service and presentation. Seems the importance of this has gone and so has me going back to this subway and possibly other subways as their standards have dropped too far. Sad really because their sandwiches...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe two staff that were on at this time need to have some more training on producing a good subway. I personally don't think it's hard to deliver a good subway quickly and efficiently however, I do understand that staff may feel rushed to get them out asap. There just needs to be more care taken so that meats and salads are evenly distributed across the bread not just thrown together with no standard or care. More care needs to be taken when taking the order as well. I asked for no spinach or olives and olives were just thrown on top. Just in general, there needs to be a bit of retraining so that people aren't disappointed with their order. I hope this feedback is taken into account. I mean no disrespect to the staff, but I am definitely not inclined to revisit this subway in High Wycombe, Perth and feel disappointed to spend my money on a pretty abysmal,...
