My wife, a friend, and I dined here on the evening of May 18. After finishing our meal and returning to our friend’s car parked across the street, my wife discovered that her backpack, which she had placed under the back seat, was missing. Most importantly, her passport was inside the bag, and we were scheduled to fly back home right after dinner. We later inquired with the restaurant, which had already closed for the night. Although the backpack wasn’t left behind in the restaurant, the owner was very kind and helped us check their surveillance footage. Unfortunately, the view of the car was blocked by a tree, but they were able to provide us with the exact time we were at the restaurant, which was extremely helpful when we filed a police report. In the end, officers Brendon Blackley and Rebecca Maughan from the Kensington Police Station helped us recover the passport the next day (although the wallet was not found). Their assistance was invaluable, and we are also very grateful to the restaurant staff for their warm and...

It's almost like walking into someone's home with all the pictures on the wall. Some of the tables have picture frames, decorated tissue boxes and a utensil/cutlery case (much like the ones you would see at a Thai roadside restaurant). The ceiling have Thai flags too which is a nice touch. Service is good, friendly and menu items are ok. I ordered a Tom Yum Goong with noodles which is one of my "go-to" dishes when in a Thai restaurant. It was ok, but nothing more, I felt is was missing the sourness you would normally get from a Tom Yum dish. Would have liked fresh prawns but I'm guessing they were cooked from frozen (that's what the prawns tasted/felt like anyway). I wouldn't mind trying other dishes if I do go back, I also noticed they have quite a loyal following as I noticed a number of drop ins from "take...

This time, we ordered the usual Minced Pork Pad Kaprao - very tasty and spicy. I believe you can ask for less chili or no chili if you dont like spicy. Home made feel and warm you inside out!
Tom Yum Goong - it's just ok for us. The soup is a bit thin to our liking. But taste was pretty good. We just ordered the small one, and you get 3 or 4 pieces of prawn.
For drinks, we tried the thai milk tea, but it's way too sweet to our taste. I had to put water a few times. Due to this, i have to give just 4 stars.
It's still a good simple thai good place with a very friendly chef and server. It's still recommended to try if you like...
