Tonight 8/4/2017....attended pines restaurant. ..told it was a great place. .....it turned out to be one of the worst experiences. Initial wanted soup but other people ordered it before me.so i settled for the gnocchi. It came cold and tasteless. .main arrived lamb shanks. ....not good grissily and over cooked. .but the worst was yet to come. ..my wife and i are DIABETICS ..when it was desert time we were happy to decline the desert and just happy to have a tea or coffee ..one of your waitresses suggested that chef could make a fruit salad Within a few minutes a gentleman approached us Which he started ranting on about how we should of informed them of our diabetes before we came ..i didn't want your bloody sweet desert nor did my wife but he kept ranting in an extremely rude manner. It took all my strength not explode in a fit as we were with friends who are regular customers. ..he then proceeded to do the same to my wife who incidently is of Chinese origin and luckily did not understand your employees rant..discusting behavior that will be remembered for a long time You probably won't respond to this review but trust me i will tell everyone about this What chance do our future chefs and wait staff have when they are being taught by people who should not be in the...

Obviously, everyone there was in training so some wait staff were nervous (especially cooking on the portable grill) and I had to ask for water once or twice but I would hope you expect this given the fact its a training restaurant. These minor things are far outweighed by the effort, attention and food. Well done. This was a really enjoyed celebration meal. Will...
