(October 2023) A bit of an older review, but I've been here a couple times both before and after the date, so my review stands as is.

First off, just wanted to say that it is a cafe, but I'm not the most knowledgeable about coffees or teas so I won't really dive into those. I'll try to focus on the metrics instead, being food, service and atmosphere.

Food: Fried Chicken Crumpets - $22 Personally, I wasn't the biggest fan of these, but I do see a lot of people who would enjoy these. I can't really complain about the price much as it is a cafe, and a popular one at that, so putting that aside, it's not that bad. The chicken wasn't bad at all in terms of the fried chicken, but I wasn't too big of a fan of the sauce. The sweet chili sauce with the chicken didn't quite pair as well as you'd think, and didn't hit the spot for me. The onions that came with it were also fairly alright, but again, not bad. The crumpets were nice and soft, and when paired with the chicken, did taste quite nice, as long as there wasn't too much of the sauce to overpower the taste of everything together.

The food and drinks themselves are always very aesthetic and worthy of an Instagram story due to their clean presentation and delicious appeal, but then again, from the other options that I've tried, overall, majority of the food isn't bad at all and I would recommend trying a variety to get a feel as to what you would probably prefer.

Biscoff Pancakes (December 2022) Personally, I quite enjoyed these, especially considering I'm not the biggest fan of sweets. Normally I would go for the Benedict or the Potato Rosti but I decided to try something new.

In hindsight I should've stuck with the Benedict, but if you've got yourself a sweet tooth, this could be a really good option for you, if it's on their menu. The first few bites were absolutely amazing. One thing to note is that the cream goes so well with the pancakes and everything together. It was all pretty good until the sweetness got to me after a couple of bites. Each bite definitely packs a punch of sweetness and overall flavour, but I felt that it was a bit too much for me.

Overall, I'd say that the pancakes were really good considering it's not usually my cup of tea.

Service: The service here has always been great, with majority of the staff being friendly and welcoming, although during peak hours, it can get a bit hectic and do expect fairly long waiting times, both to get seated and for your food.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere definitely is one of the key components of this cafe as with most cafes in general. The al fresco area is dog-friendly and quite nice as long as the sun isn't too bright, and the aesthetic of the cafe itself is very pleasant. The brown sugar on the tables is also really nice and adds a really cute touch.

All in all, I would recommend visiting, especially if you're in need of a date spot or a sweet brunch/cafe spot. The friendly staff and tasteful food are sure to make you want...

I visited the Tribute Cafe to try out some of their winter vegan options. Many of the items on the menu come with a vegan option, which means the non-vegan ingredients are not simply removed but are replaced with vegan ingredients 👏🏻 The chef here does an amazing job - the presentation was absolutely stunning 😍

I tried: 🌱Spiced Apple & Candied Walnut Porridge ($17) - this was the perfect warming meal on a cold rainy day! The candied walnuts added a great crunch, and it was also served with a side of apple sauce which was a nice addition. 🌱Mushroom Medley ($19.50) - trio of mushrooms in a creamy sauce served with rocket, roasted cherry tomatoes and almonds - this was a huge serving size! The sauce was so rich and creamy, and it was served on the most delicious seeded bread. 🌱Tribute Winter Curry ($20.50) - a Thai style red curry, with tofu, capsicum, green beans, bamboo shoots and bean sprouts. This was a very creamy and spicy curry that definitely warmed me up! Loved the use of puffed tofu that worked so well to soak up all the delicious sauce 😍 🌱Gingerbread Biscoff specialty drink - this was amazing! A hot drink made with a blend of ginger and spices, topped off with a nice layer of froth and biscoff crumbs. So good!

They also have a range of vegan cakes and slices in their cabinet, and I can confirm the coffee here is fantastic 👌🏻

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere special to go for breakfast,...

Good food, great coffee!

Had a couple of dishes from the breakfast/brunch menu. Fried Potato Rosti with Smoked Salmon — well portioned and fairly value for money. Optioned for scrambled eggs at no extra cost. Well seasoned and delicious. However, a tiny side of smashed avo for $5 is a little steep. Mushroom Medley was good overall, but the huge amount of greens took away the flavour of the mushrooms. Pricing is a little bit over than expected for the mushroom dish.

First time trying bulletproof coffee! Not very much to my liking and ordered an excellent takeaway cup of soy cappuccino shortly after. Had a selection of pastries from the front counter for takeaway. Love the donuts!

No table service, so be prepared to queue up to make orders. Fairly packed at 9:30, but service was swift with the food and coffee. Friendly staff all round.

Street parking can be a pain when busy, however there is a local shopping complex just a walk down the street where there is ample parking.

Overall good menu options, just a little expensive for some. Have been back for the coffee a few times now. Decided on this spot for brunch this time as per my recommendation. Keep up the...

Went here for the first time on Monday and it was a lovely experience. Was quite busy, with an almost full cafe of dine in customers, and a regular flow of takeaway orders, but food and drink came out extremely quick which was unexpected but very welcomed! Friendly staff, seemed very helpful - saw them helping a few customers orders etc Space was very nice, calming, clean. Coffee was good - mug was a perfect size! Menu had a nice selection of classics and a few specialty ones. Friend had the mini smashed avo with poached egg, she has had it a few times and said it never disappoints. Was the perfect size for her! I had the rosti with bacon, 2 nice and crispy rosti’s with poached egg and hollandaise was a nice combo. Maybe a bit much salad - a whole bunch of rocket and a slaw - I couldn’t eat it all. But otherwise a good solid meal. I’ll need to come back go try some of the lunch burgers or even those fried chicken bao sounds Delish. 🤤 Thanks team!
