Espresso cafe & curry — Restaurant in Whyalla

Waited over an hour for our meals. When they arrived, the pasta had no seasoning at all (not even salt), it was cold in less than a minute, and had no garlic, onion, or any flavour... the chips we ordered had been cooked in old oil and tasted like sugary fish & the lemon pie I ordered was stone frozen on the inside and had raw pastry on the outside. The only thing that saved the meal was the coffee afterwards, which was serviceable, but I will most definitely not be going back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. Very sad as this cafe used to be a great place to eat. I hope the new owners can step...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We came here twice on a trip to whyalla. Both times ordering simple things like pies, nachos and wedges. Both times we were the only customers at the Cafe. Both times there were long waits and the food was revolting. Kids and I got a bowl of wedges and a bowl of nachos to share today. None of us could stomach the nachos they were stale, with the only flavour a chemically weird taste. My kids love nachos and they couldn't even swallow a single mouthful. After returning to the curry house numerous times in an effort to keep the local business afloat, we have had enough and we won't be returning again. The authenticity and quality of meals are of a low standard. This applies to all of the meals that we have bought. We were also over charged last night.
