Great loaded wedges. Sometimes better than other times, but still mostly really good. Sometimes not as good, depends on the maker i assume. I don't think the bacon was cooked on the second one, and not as "loaded" and no sour cream at all. Which was really quite bloody weird lol... IDK what happened there! Good chips and gravy but not enough gravy. Only on top, not through the chips down below. Charcoal chicken is also pretty good. I still do recommend them, but they're not always as good in each and every order, but when they are, they're pretty damn fantastic! I had the big breakfast, and bacon had a great flavour better than the usual ones around town. Just needed to be cooked more, sausage was great, and the nice addition of haloumi, the tomato, and mushroom cooked well. It could use some seasoning, but that seems to be the norm around town. Great toast and scrambled eggs. Partner had bacon and eggs fried. Same again with the bacon, just needs that fat rendered more. Another happy visit to the retro Whisk Away Whyalla! As always, it's popular with locals and tourists alike. Everything is made freshhh on the premises with herbs coming from the garden. The menu offers breakfast and lunch favorites with mushroom medley, eggs benny, smashed avo, banana oat pancakes, waffles and Granola bowls ever-popular.
