Since we moved here a few years ago we went on the search for good coffee, we had the pleasure of visiting Cakes by Rach, and we must say, it is truly the best little cafe in town. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy interior, combined with the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee, immediately put us at ease.

Speaking of coffee, Cakes by Rach certainly knows how to make a great cup. Their baristas are skilled and passionate about their craft, and it shows in every sip. Whether you prefer a classic cappuccino or a trendy latte, they have you covered. The coffee is always rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced.

But what truly sets Cakes by Rach apart is its community spirit. The cafe has become a hub for locals to gather, connect, and support one another. It's not uncommon to see friends catching up over a cup of coffee or groups of people engaged in lively conversations. The sense of camaraderie is palpable, and it creates a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The staff at Cakes by Rach are the epitome of friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels valued and taken care of. Whether you have a special request or simply need a recommendation, they are always ready to assist with a smile. Their genuine warmth and hospitality make each visit a delightful experience.

And let's not forget about the cakes! Cakes by Rach offers a mouthwatering selection of freshly baked treats that are simply irresistible. From decadent chocolate cakes to delicate pastries, there is something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The quality and attention to detail in their creations are evident, and each bite is a true delight.

In conclusion, Cakes by Rach is more than just a cafe. It is a place where great coffee, a good vibe, friendly staff, and a strong sense of community come together. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to relax, a delicious cup of coffee, or a place to connect with others, this little gem has it all. We highly recommend paying a visit to Cakes by Rach - you won't be...

DO NOT GO HERE ON BUSY WEEKENDS. Wasted money on a busy weekend and what a mess. We paid and waited for then left without finishing our cold meals.

After ordering waiting for over half an hour in a stinking hot restaurant, (Staff wouldn't know, they were huddled in the kitchen). Some 8year old kid was walking around trying to clean tables, had to clean my own table.....we opened the window for respite and waited.

Food finallyyyyyyyy comes out. Cold. Missing spinach, tomato, hash brown.. I was coming most weeks for this same meal mind you. And to top it off, there's no cutlery for us to use. So we are sitting there watching any remaining hot food on the plate turn cold..

I find cutlery on another table, ask for spinach and was given a plate of fried baby spinach mins later, BEFORE the cutlery.

Meanwhile, your manager, who is lovely was hoding behind the coffee machine..no communication, no good morning, what about advising the customers there's a wait. Most people will understand. Instead, shitty customer service and I wasted $81 for nothing......

I used to come here regularly. Will not be back. Floor staff need better training. No common sense was...

Great to see a new Cafe making a go of it and was buzzing with locals and a nice vibe. Coffee and ham & cheese croissant came quickly and were good. Staff were friendly.

Some feedback to help this Cafe improve would be; the hot mess avo toast took significantly longer than the other items we ordered and we were finished when it arrived at the table. Maybe consider holding back quicker items (like the ham and cheese croissant) so that diners end up being able to eat together. I also found the hot mess to have a lot going on flavourwise at the same time as being slightly under seasoned, so maybe some small tweaks to improve - it was still tasty enough though. Finally the music, which was a U2 best off album, was up loud and pretty full on to just have the one artist on the whole time at volume. Probably a preference of the owner or staff but not exactly ambient background music for a cafe 😅

Hoping this place is successful and...

Stopped here on our way to Jamberoo from Sydney late on a Sunday morning. The name does not at all suggest that what you will find. This is a fab little cafe with a great vibe complete with bean bags in the sun and a laidback soundtrack. It was very busy but we were able to find a spot at the communal table. You order at the counter which keeps things moving. Coffees were great and the food was fantastic for our whole group of four. Special mention has to go to "The Hot Mess": smashed avo on sourdough with house-made salsa, feta, chilli oil and pesto. Staff were friendly and, despite the packed cafe, we were in and out and on our way in about 45 minutes. Worth pulling off the highway for breakfast.

The Hot Mess had far too much lemon, making it unpleasantly sour and overriding the taste of everything. Despite being hungry, we couldn't finish it. When we mentioned this to a senior staff member, we were simply told that the cook would be informed. In my business, an unhappy customer would receive some form of compensation, even if just partial (I wasn’t expecting a full refund). That said, the staff were otherwise great, and the coffee was good. The atmosphere and location are also nice. To the chefs, a suggestion: please taste before serving, and consider adding less to the avocado – it’s unnecessary. The dish could have been great if the unnecessary add-ons had been treated as such.

Great place for a coffee, breakfast, and cakes. Bacon and egg roll was on a massive bun with heaps of bacon, great stuff. The Hot Mess that my partner had was also very good, perfect for vegetarians. Coffee was great. Didn't have room for cakes, but they looked super fresh and yummy. Will come back another day for morning or afternoon tea. The cafe's position is also very nice, opposite a great park and not far from the beach. Definitely recommended!!
