Eddy & Sandra's Takeaway/Cafe — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

Used to order from them all the time as i live in an area with limited options, during some periods maybe even once a week, for the last year or so. However the other night I received the incorrect item in my order, so i called up to see what could be done and if i could receive the food i actually paid for. I am always very kind and polite to customer service/hospitality workers because i know it can be rough. However the woman that answered the phone was SO incredibly rude and aggressive to me from the second we started talking that i will never order from this place again. I am relatively timid/ quiet person and found myself just steamrolled by how this woman spoke to me and was left frankly feeling quite upset. RUDE AS. never been here before. Standing at the counter Waiting to be served. The dude behind the counter unceremoniously told me I won’t get served standing there and proceeded to walk off. I said mate I’ve never been here before where do I stand to get served then. He just pointed. There was only myself and one other customer in that shop. The old lady served me with a look of poison on her face. I should have walked out at that point. I asked for a hamburger and handful of chips. Easy. Right . Wrong she put on a performance about the chip servings size omg. When I got back to work the burger had soaked through the bag with grease sauce uncooked egg yolk. These guys are great for convenience.They have an extremely extensive menu, with pretty much anything you can think of on it. I have tried most of their menu items and was satisfied with the portion size ( awesome if you're really hungry) and good quality. I think my favourite is the steak and aioli wrap. Regarding convenience, these guys used to take a phone menu for morning tea and lunch and deliver for both breaks punctually, then collect the payment and leave change in labelled paper bags really excellent service, when they delivered twice daily to the Australian Lock Company on O Doyle drive in Unanderra.
