Came here for lunch after reading the reviews... I was not impressed.

Firstly the food was below bar.

I ordered the Zaatar chicken burger and chips lunch special. The chicken tasted ok, not alot of flavour. The burger had hardly any sauce or flavour. Lettice was fresh and so was the tomato. The bun was covered in butter but still tasted ok. The chips were a dark yellow colour, which I can only assume was from the old oil they were cooked in. They were salted ok though.

Service size was good.

Service was good, the guy there was friendly enough.

There were a number of people In the venue.

Overall it scored low because of the food and thats really the main point...

I cannot thank Charlie and staff enough for catering for our late father's wake today and made incredible food for the family and our friends. Our father (whose name is Charlie too) was a regular at port beruit and loved his barramundi, always talking about how much he loved eating there. We will always come back to visit because of the incredible food but also the kindness we have been shown in a sad time of our lives.

Always beautiful food and service and now memories along with our day celebrating the life of our dad.

Thank you...

The passion these guys have for their food and the local community is inspiring! Delicious but most importantly fresh produce! You know it’s going to be great food when the salad has as much care put into it as the meats. Well worth visiting, especially if you want something that’s healthier than most takeaway venues, AND THEY DELIVER! Definitely up there as the best food in Port Kembla, and could easily give venues like Samaras a run for...

People come from miles to eat from Charlie’s delicious authentic menu! Day or night his versatile meals suit everything from a Tasty anytime Snack to post surf or cycle Feed. Here’s a look at a couple of dishes that I love that Port Beirut serves up! …. Did I mention great Coffee & Awesome Catering too!!

Hands down best breakfast in the illawarra. Big breakfast includes halloumi, chorizo, home made baked beans plus all the usual mushrooms, tomato, bacon hash brown, eggs and sourdough. Great coffee too! Couldn’t recommend more highly
