First time here;
Arrival: it wasnât clear if it was directive seating or seat yourself / counter or table service. As there was No one to greet incoming customers, Ended up just sitting down inside and waited for someone to come but they never came so ended up having to ask a passing by staff member for a menu, was told fairly bluntly âorder outside, menus are outside, â as they kept walking by. The staff could have been a bit less dismissive and a little more tactful with their response considering. Itâs not a good start to any dinning experience when you feel that you are inconveniencing staff by asking a simple question. There was no other interaction from any staff while there.
Drinks : No table water was offered throughout the duration. No salt, pepper, sugar etc was offered nor on tables. The coffee had good bold rich flavours but unfortunately whomever made it was clearly inexperienced in milk frothing ( or rushing because it was overly busy ) as the foam on the cap had dissipated completely after a few sips in, and was a big letdown, as it Was more like a flat white but In saying that Iâd return to try the coffee again because it was a very nice coffee despite the lack of foam.
Food : The food was all excellent 9.5 /10. It was flavourful, well prepared and professionally presented, it was all hot, fresh and very moreish, the only downside to the meals is that they were very very heavily salted which was a shame.
Overall : Generally Clean and tidy ( but could use a good dusting ) A very busy little place, with a good ambience, overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience ( despite the few little encountered hiccups ) I would return and I would...
   Read moreWhilst staying up in Wyong for the weekend, I did a google search to find some good coffee and had pot luck, stumbling on this great little cafe, Duck Duck Moose.
Tucked away in an arcade in a side street of wyong amongst a few boutique shops, the cafe is bright and open with some tables indoors and a few in the arcade space. We like the decor, with white tables and peach tones, with some plants to provide freshness to the space.
We only stopped in for coffee, but the coffee was excellent, using glitch coffee roasters as their bean. They even do a batch brew. Smoothies and milkshakes are also available.
Although we had previously eaten, the food did look good, so weâll have to return sometime. With the likes of the favourites such as a bacon and egg roll, smashed avo of French toast, they also have some interesting dishes and healthy ones too like goddess fritters and a nourish bowl.
I also like that they have a bowl and some posters to encourage donations to charity (a sustainable farm) and sell products such as reusable straws. In addition, itâs great to see they use environmentally friendly huskee cups.
Staff were super welcoming, friendly and provided efficient service. This was a great little find and we look forward to revisiting one day.

   Read moreAmazing food and staff! Today it was our second time here in one week, a colleague from work recommended it and we are so glad we gave it a go! My husband ordered the Bacon and egg roll both times and he said it is the best one heâs ever had, 10/10! I ordered poached eggs on sourdough with a side of mushrooms the other day, and the flavours were outstanding. Not your typical âeggs on toastâ from other places. You could taste the love of the person cooking everythingâ¤ď¸ even from the house made tomato relish; delish!! Today I ordered chilli egg with tomato pesto and feta cheese, and it was again outstanding. I have decided to order something different every time we come, because every bite is so flavoursome. The staff are so nice, professional and hard working. You can see them all cleaning tables, bringing dishes around, and always wanting to help and with a smile! We will definitely keep recommending this place to friends and family, even if it takes us 30 minutes to get here from home. We love...
