Martin's Bistro — Restaurant in Achenkirch

We stopped randomly found this cozy-looking bistro. The food was looking good, but the waitress completely ignored us for about 40 minutes. We eventually got the menus, without a greet or anything, and we waited for another 15 minutes. When she finally came to us, she only wanted us to order drinks and she unpolitely told us to wait more before ordering the food, when the table next to us could order drinks and food together (they arrived after us, by the way). When we saw she was ignoring us again, we left. Never again, and that's a pity, because I would have liked to try the fresh trout they had, even tho it...

We were visiting the town on a rainy day and we came there for lunch and it was the best that we could do. The food was really fantastic, the "Steckerlfisch" was delicious with a very special taste ! And the bandnuldeln mit Lachsforellenstücken und Zucchini that I asked for were also very good! The waiter was very friendly, and helpful with the recommendation of the dishes! Very good service ! honestly, it is a place to visit again when we are around this area. And so should you. Absolutely...

Wir waren während unseres 12-tätigen Urlaubs am Achensee dreimal zu Gast, davon zweimal zum Abendessen. Nach sehr freundlichem Empfang bekamen wir einen sehr schönen Tisch auf der Terrasse zugewiesen und umgehend wurden wir nach den Getränkewünschen gefragt und die Speisekarten gereicht. Die Karte hat eine große Auswahl an Fischgerichten, aber auch sonst bleibt kein Wunsch (Fleisch, vegetarisch, kleinere Speisen) offen. Alles, wirklich alles, hat hervorragend geschmeckt! Gut gewürzt, aber nicht überwürzt... Steak und Fisch immer auf den Punkt gebraten. Wir hatten beim ersten Besuch drei Hauptgänge und drei Desserts, beim zweiten Besuch drei Hauptgänge und drei Vorspeisen. Der Service war sehr gut, immer aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich. Auf Nachfrage gab es sehr gute Infos zu den Speisen und Getränken. Ich kann dieses Restaurant guten Gewissens und bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen und wird garantiert beim nächten Urlaub wieder auf unserer Liste stehen... und das nicht nur einmal!
