Bann Thai — Restaurant in Götzis

My first time here, food was superb. Krao Phao is amazing, Pad Thai was excellent.

Second time was a bit less tasty, but still very good.

Third time, i invited friends, as i highly talked about it coz of the typical Asian fast food ambiance, and of course the good food they serve. I ordered curry, it was too salty, you can distinctively taste the fish sauce in it, i highly recommended to my friend the Krao Phao, i didn't know she was just being polite whenever i askes her if it's good..but when i tried a half full spoon, i looked at her and i felt embarrassed.. it doesnt have that flavorful taste that it should be, it was just like another simple home cooked meal. And when i tried a little of my other friend's Pad Thai, it was a bit sour.

On another random visit, the Pad Thai was quite sweet, the other dish with dark sauce was just salty.

In short, this Authentic Thai restaurant could have been really very good. But it lacks CONSISTENCY. We've noticed that all the staff cooks, then of course dishes wouldn't have a consistent taste, some can cook it more or less flavorful, tasteful or just sour or salty.

After several visits, it was really just the very first visit that i could've rated this 5 star but all the rest, 3 star is good...

This year me and my family spent our annual vacation in Austria. The vacation itself was great, but on a chilly afternoon we were seriously craving some thai food and found this awesome place on google. From the outside, the restaurant has a beautiful design that reminded me of a different place from my hometown, which straight up gave me a really neat nostalgic feeling. We've sat down at the nearest table as our hunger was reaching its climax. The beautiful waiter lady has come right to our table in less than minute and she was really, really kind and understanding. Her professionalism and speed were a match made in heaven! The menu has a wide selection of great foods, but after a longer period of thinking we have made our decisions. Our food has come to our table shortly and it was absolutely flawless! The presentation of the dishes were on point and the taste was just phenomenal! I really hope that I can visit this wonderful place once again...

Zusammenfassung: Essen relativ viel und gut, Preis okay, Bestellung für TakeAway ein Desaster

Fall eins: ich versuche telefonisch etwas zur Abholung zu bestellen. Nach 20 Minuten vergeht mir die Lust und ich fahre vor Ort. Es ist kaum was los trotzdem und trotzdem musste ich einiges an Geduld aufbringen, bis mir das Essen auf Tellern ausgehändigt wurde. Kann ja mal passieren, bestellt was zum mitnehmen. Das vegetarische Essen war sehr gut, das Fleischgericht okay. Auskunft: das Telefon würde nicht richtig funktionieren und man würde ohnehin zu bestimmten Zeiten nicht abnehmen.

Falls zwei: ich rufe um 11:40 Uhr an und würde gerne etwas zur Abholung bestellen. Man teilt mir mit, um diese Zeit würden sie keine Bestellungen annehmen, ich solle bitte vor Ort kommen, es sei ohnehin nichts los. An Ort ergibt sich dann ein ganz anderes Bild, ich solle eine Viertelstunde warten. Meine ersten Erfahrung nach - und aufgrund der vielen wartenden Personen geht es sicher länger. Ich lehne ab. Moderner Zeitraub ;)

Schade auch: alle Getränke kommen in Einweg-Kunststoffflaschen (man könnte auf Getränke verzichten, auch wenn sie beim Mittagessen im Preis inklusive sind). Sowas ist für mich einfach nicht...
