A lovely place! After we came there on the first evening of our stay in Galtur, we started to come to Gunter almost every day. Delicious Tirol cuisine (without them we would not even know that such great local dishes exist!), and inimitable family atmosphere. Highly recommend this place - excellent local food, cosy ambiance, and friendly and attentive staff. My girlfriend and I wanted to end a perfect ski day with some local flavor. Turned away from Restaurant Sabine, we ended up here, and we are so grateful. We both had soup before splitting a delicious trout with salted potatoes (they split the main course for us and presented it beautifully on two plates. The coup de grace was the kaiserschmarren, which was outstanding, but made even more special by dimming the lights and lighting a sparkler. No special occasion, just kindness. Das erste mal in Galtür und durch Freunde empfohlen kehrten wir bei Anneliese und Günther zum Abendessen ein. Ein Restaurant in dem man sich absolut wohlfühlt. Diese herzliche, freundschaftliche Gastfreundschaft empfanden wir als überdurchschnittlich, einmalig und weil wir uns dort so wohl gefühlt haben waren wir während unseres Skiurlaubs gleich 2 mal dort. Das Essen ist ein Traum. Günther kocht wirklich hervorragend und den Rest erledigt Anneliese beim Anrichten am Tisch, mit Spaß, ihrer Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit und netten Gesprächen. Alles ein Träumchen :-). Sehr zu empfehlen, Günthers Haxe. Sie war so lecker, man hätte sie jeden Tag essen können. Wenn sie serviert wird fühlt man sich wie ein VIP. Probiert es selbst aus. Aber auch andere Gerichte sind natürlich ebenso lecker und empfehlenswert. Leider reicht die Bewertungsskala hier nicht aus um der Realität gerecht zu werden. Wir würden gerne 10 Sterne vergeben. Danke Anneliese und Günther für die 2 sehr, sehr, sehr schönen Abende die wir bei euch verbringen durften. 2022 ist unserer Aufenthalt in Galtür bereits gebucht und wir werden uns wiedersehen (definitiv wieder Haxe :-) ).
