I’m disappointed to have to leave a bad review for this bakery. My husband and I had a delicious homemade ice cream here, and decided to come back the next morning for breakfast. We arrived at 8:30, opening time, and tried to order at the counter, to have a quick breakfast before a day of cycling. We were told to sit down, and our order would be taken. We sat down, and waited while the server took the order of another table (locals), but did not take ours. We continued to wait while the other table was served their breakfasts (5+ hot dishes), and our order still had not been taken. Ultimately, at 9:00, we had to leave, without our order ever being taken, because we had to get started cycling. Maybe the server treated us this way because we’re tourists and foreigners - whatever reason she had, it’s not acceptable behavior. I really can’t recommend going to this bakery if...

Absolutely 5 star bakery!!! As a baker myself I am very particular at what and where I eat. This establishment has fantastic, high quality baking goods. I tried two different cakes and could barely stop myself. )) Two ladies at the counter were very helpful explaining regarding different types of cakes/pastries. They do speak English. A lovely traditional bakery and sweets shop. We visited shortly before closing time and they still had a good selection of cakes (would recommend the Esterhazy cake!). Cute interior, good service, you can pay with a card. They also do breakfast and snacks and ice cream and even some wine and drinks. Affordable prices. Would definitely visit again to try more of...
