We ate here during our first night at Kempsinski. Overall the food was very good and good service, but overpriced and the portions were a bit big. We did not have any starters, but the home made bread and dips were very tasty. We then had the wagyu steak and the schnitzel (both portions could have been halved and would have still been enough). The waiter in the end seemed surprised that we finished the portion, which makes me wonder, why a restaurant serves portions that they expect the guests not to finish. The service was very nice and allowed my friend to try the different open wines before deciding. We had the kaiserschmarrn for dessert, which was very airy and light, but it was good that we shared it, as the portion was very big. Overall the prices were more expensive than in other restaurants in the area (75€ for the steak, 37€ for the schnitzel) and overall good quality food, but not the best we had during our holiday.

Although the food looks good visually, the food is just tasteless. Cold asparagus served on plate. Tiramisu from supermarket. One yesterday’s bun of bread (they say they bake it themselves - probable previous week) brought to the table - whatever how many people you are. I don’t eat bread so did not care, but had not seen that a 5 star hotel restaurant serves old bread. The steak with foie gras was ok, except over-salted meat sauce. Generally overpriced zero taste food. Definitely go somewhere else - there are plenty of very good options around e.g. in a golf club. Not worth a money.
