Is shortchange common in Austria?

I order 2 sets of lever sandwiches. it was about 5 euros. I paid by a 20 euro bill, but A vendor lady only gave me back about 5 euro.

I found it soon after receiving the change. I ask the lady to give me 10 euros more. But what she said was that 'Once you left the registration counter you lost your right for claim it'. To my surprise, SHE DID NOT DENY THAT SHE CHEATED AND MADE NO APPOLOGY!

There are other customers behind me. But a couple behind me just said that there was nothing to do for them, even injustice was taken place right in front of them. I claimed it to another vendor lady but she pretended as if I was not there. Perhups, they are accustomed to deceive.

Eventually, one girl she also watched the accident helped me and the vendor lady throw me back the 10 euro bill.

It was surprising because I thought that people in this country is sophisticated but an austrian lady working in such a big train station did it. At least, I hope this happens because I looked naive but not...

Jo mei, was soll man groß sagen über den Leberkas-Pepi? Do gibt's einen von die besten Leberkas der Welt basiernd auf die Gourmetfeinleberkäse. Für jeden, der in Österreich wohnt oder Österreich besucht, sollt's den deftigen, rustikalen und geschmacksvollen Leckerbissen probieren. Es gibt viele Sorten und ma kann a Semmel mit 8 verschiedenen Scheiben zammbauen. Preis Leistung is ned billig, aber die Qualität is top. Das Ambiente passt perfekt zum Laden, do fühlt ma si gleich wia daham. Das Service is sehr guad und z'vorkommend. Für viel Esser gibt's an Sammelpass. Und woarum ned a fia de Kinda geeignet? Es gibt Parkplätze am Bahnhof (leider ned gratis) und Ladestationen, falls ned grad von Verbrennern blockiert. Der Lärm is a bissal höher wegen der Lage am Bahnhof, aber des is afoch so.
