Horrible service! The waiter was sighing all the time as the work was his punishment for something. No smile, no friendly communication. I had a feeling we were ignored most of the time.I had to waive at the waiter to get the drinks we ordered (we waited good 15 minutes and I decided to waive), then again I had to waive for him to open the the bottle of water (I don’t have enough strength in my hands I observed at another table the waiter not only opened the bottle himself but poured it into glasses), next time I had to wave again so the waiter would take away the dishes (at this point the restaurant was not busy any more, the waiter managed to clean some tables where guests already left, and change some table cloths but did not notice we finished our food or did not want to notice) the next time I had to waive was to order our deserts (there were maybe 2-3 tables left who were finishing, the waiter served those tables with their bills, passing by our table with the menu closed but did not stop to take our order), we also had to waive to get our bill. On top every time we had to waive we were not served immediately, the waiter first served other tables. For example, when we asked for the bill, another table behind us asked for their bill just after us and the waiter brought their bill first - the waiter had to pass our table first anyways - extremely rude. The food was quite good but did not compensate for the rude waiter and unfriendly atmosphere. Actually I am a very good tipper - especially on holidays - this waiter shoot himself in the foot because of course I did not leave even...
Read moreDecent place… and that’s actually it. No more than that but not less neither. Pizzas were very good, the size, the cake & tasty ingredients were a plus for sure. We really enjoyed it.
However what made us disappointed to say the least were the drinks. If you buy a glass of Martini but you get it filled up no higher than to the middle it’s disgusting and it should not happen in good restaurant. In menu there was no volume provided next to this item line so naturally we assumed it was a full glass. If you cannot afford as a host to fill it to full on given price, just pour it to different glass so that it would look less embarrassing for a guest. Needless to say it was mostly filled with ice cubes no actual Martini. Terrible.
Another example, we asked if there was heated beer on offer, at least not a one that is not taken out directly from fridge, since one of the guests had a sore throat and didn’t want to get it worsened. A waiter assured us he would get heated beer for us and what we received was… a cold beer (probably directly from fridge) poured into glass which was placed into a bucket with its bottom covered in hot water… I suppose the real purpose of such bucket is to make vodka bottle cold. It didn’t work out at all. Not as terrible as previous Martini example but still, disappointing. We preferred to hear there was no heated beer on offer and get sth...
Read moreI was there for dinner with my family. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the salads and bruschettas as starters. I had a pizza calzone and it was the most delicious one I had ever eaten. I always look for child- friendly places but sometimes I get dissapointed. In this restaurant all the staff, especially the waitress, were nice and patient, another important thing for me is the cleanliness of the toillets, it was clean and hygienic . To sum up my comment:
All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. The friendliness of the staff and the taste of their dishes seems genuine.
P.s: Their terrace was very enjoable. I liked the decoration and the view of the Alpins. I am looking forward for my next visit to Tyrol.
