( In 2018 I've rated to 1 star, you can read that below. Update: 2019.Dec. )
UPDATE 2019.12. UPDATE! As I mentioned and usually, did give another chance to eat here, bc simply love Wagamama! HUUUGE THUMBS UP!!! Everything is just the opposite what I experienced in 2018. The tables are superclean, even if the restaurant is almost full, we could take a seat in a minute. Waiters/waitresses and the service were super fast and very kind. They speak in many different languages, such as german, english, hungarian, slovakian... and who knows what else. The food were absolutely delicious, starters and mains came in minutes after orders. The team communication seems very good, every little bits/request were spot on! This time the visit did bring the authentic Wagamama feels, so deffo go back as soon as possible! And now I'm very happy to recommend this Wagamama restaurant to anybody I know! WOW!!!
2018: When I saw the place, as a big Wagamama fan, made sense to eat in this brunch out of all the restaurants.
First of all I've been in many-many Wagamamas, let's say couple of hundreds of times and tried more than 50 different brunch all around in England in the last 6 years.
Start w the pros: they speak german (obviously), english and slovak. Staff fairly kind after they noticed you.
And here are the cons: the welcoming and waiting time.
Step in, noone came to welcome, ask what we want or even say hello. Even more sad the staff seemingly were avoiding the eye-contact. Okay, step two, comfort yourself, took a seat, now they noticed us, but again no one came at least 10 mins , just after weaving to staff "Hey there! I am here!"
So about 20 mins later we finally got some drink, placed the order and wait. 3 of us been there and after another 15 mins got the starters and two of the main meals. We discussed to not wait each others as we thought the 3rd meal will come in minutes. We were wrong! Seemingly something went wrong with the communication between the waitresses and chefs, because 15 mins later the 3rd meal still nowhere. At that time the other two finished their meals! Embarrassing!
Again 10 minutes and got the 3rd meal, teriyaki soba w salmon... I mention this just because its need around 6-7 minutes to make. The food was okay, yet not the authentic Wagamama feels. They are lacking of staff, good communications (between them) and also missing a good management. 2 waitress were running up and down for more than 50-60 tables.
Recommend? No. Liked it? No.
Maybe next year will give another go for it, but for first, it was a...
Read moreWe came as a group of 9 people for lunch on 14 Sep during lunch hour. At first this restaurant looked amazing because we saw that their service was quick, but it turn out that their service wasn't efficient as what it looked and indeed dissappointing.
Their staff was all over the place, but even the simplest order such as 2 glass of hot water never arrived. After that, we kept asking politely 'excuse me' whenever the waiters and waitresses passed by, but none of them even looked at us (we are party of 9, and the people from next table even noticed our call for the waiters/waitresses many times).
The worst part was we had to wait at the cashier for almost 20 minutes just to wait for the 'RIGHT' waiter so that we could pay for our bill. Although other waiter was available, he told us he couldn't help us with the bill as he didn't handle our order.
All of us was so dissapointed and felt ignored. I didn't know who to complain as I suspected this was the system that applied by the restaurant management for their staff.
For the food, it is not amazing but sufficient enough to reflect the taste of asia. But for such price, better find other food with...

An interesting concept with Asian cuisine, where you can order food via a QR code on the table, but if you are here for the first time, it is better to wait for the service. Upon arrival we were seated by a waiter and the menu is available in several languages. The waiters also speak different languages, so you will definitely understand each other. The interior is themed and simple. This time we tried the mango soulful bowl prepared without soy and the shrimp rice bowl. The staff warned us in advance that they bring the food as soon as the cook prepares it, so it may happen that you don't get the food at the same time. I received something different from what I ordered and I waited much longer, but in the end everything was resolved. The food was fresh, tasty, the service was friendly and we will probably come back to try other dishes. More on instagram...
