After a long day of skiing, one expects to be able to drink a large cold one in the bar at the bottom of the one slope that, in this case, ends in Vorderglemm. The beer was exquisite, the bar itself was wonderful, the personnel however, was not as welcoming as we'd experienced elsewhere in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm area. Even worse, it seemed as if the employees were not interested in receiving their guests in a proper way, which was unfortunate. It deteriorated our experience of that wonderful winter holiday feeling, which is why we recommend everybody to either stay with one of the bars halfway of the last slope or take a bus to Saalbach or Hinterglemm.

Read moreThis is a restaurant with separate room and bar at the other side of the building. It is on the second floor and is used a lot by skiers as it is very close to ski lift but is easy to visit we found as there is a car park close by. We attended for dinner and found the food and menu we were perfect for our family. There is an excellent kids menu and adult menu was very tasty. There is a friendly relaxed atmosphere and staff were very pleasant. The prices were very decent for the area. I have no idea what the other people are saying about rude staff, I assume it’s arrogant tourists forgetting they are visiting...
