Overall it was pretty good, service was lacking a little. It is expensive for what it is in my opinion. Value for money I'd go for the club sandwhich or the wiener schnitzel which will set you back €19 each. A bottle of water will set you back €6.80? And it doesn't taste all that nice, served with warm cups that came straight from the dishwasher.
Edit response to the owner. We waited over 5 minutes at the front of your establishment on a hot day with a pregnant lady for a table (and you had empty tables!). It wasnt until we waived down an attendant to be seated. Like some of the other negative reviews, I'm not the only one who has complained about service. When you pay so much, you have an expectation that the service is good.
When we recieved the water, we asked how much the bottle of water was. To our surprise the waitress told us and walked away straight away before we could say take it back. She actually knew €6.80 is a joke, let alone getting warm cups. We didn't want to be wierd about it.
Due to your poor response, it has made me change my review. Thank you...
Read moreI would have gladly given this a 5-star rating if it weren't for the service, or rather the lack thereof. We ordered coffees and cakes, but when we received our drinks, mine was somehow unsteadily placed on the table, so that when I tried to pick up my cup, it tipped over, spilling all my coffee on the table ... and all over me. I should point out that the cup was tall with a narrow base, which made the incident likely. To my surprise, and even more so to my disappointment, no server came to my aid, and I had to find a tissue to clean my table... and myself. The icing on the cake: when the server finally deigned to come to my table while I was cleaning everything up, I wasn't offered nor help nor a replacement coffee, as is usually the case in any other self-respecting cafe. So, of course, a bad experience and the resulting...
Read moreThe service here is worst. The table was not labelled as reserve, but the moment an asian sit down, they put reserve. And asked 1 of the other staff, he simply say he don't care.
To the owner reply: Unfortunately for a business that do not recognise foreigners as their patronising guests do not deserve good reviews. What causes the rude behaviour from your guest is something that you should ponder on. There is no reason that the guest should be rude if there is no cause. Your employee simply don't care attitude is a big no no to service industry. Instead of helping your guests to find seats, saying i don't know or i don't care is definitely not how you want to run your business. If this is your business model, good luck to you and your business. Have a great day...
