The Hospiz Alm has become kind of a destination place for our group and we'll probably never ski at St. Anton without having a lunch or dinner here. The Inn is located just off a run with easy access for skiers.
The dining areas is large but it can get crowded so you'll want to make reservations early (like days ahead) if you have a large group. We arrived fairly early for lunch and while we had almost a dozen people we were quickly seated at a table with our promise we would be done well before the group that had reserved it would arrive.
The ambiance and decor of the inn is fantastic and you'll find plenty to look at whether indoors or outside. Make sure to use the slide (yes there's a slide) down to the WC because it's there specifically to make it easier for the skiers with clumsy boots.
The food and drinks are very good and our group thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service can be hectic due to the crowds but that's to be expected during the busy times. Definitely will...
Read moreMy husband insisted we visit Arlberg Hospiz Alm, and I’m so grateful he did—it was an unforgettable experience. This stunningly traditional restaurant surpassed all my expectations.
From the moment we walked in, everything felt magical. The host welcomed us warmly and gave us a private tour of the restaurant, which was a rare and truly special experience. The charm, history, and unique design of the space left me speechless.
The highlight of our visit was the wine cellar—an absolute masterpiece. The collection of rare and aged wines was unlike anything I’d ever seen. The separate tasting rooms, each beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, added an extra layer of elegance to the experience.
Every detail, from the ambiance to the impeccable hospitality, made our visit extraordinary. Arlberg Hospiz Alm isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience that stays with you. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Christoph. It’s a place you’ll...
Read moreThis place is beautifully located and has one of the most prominent wine cellars in the alps. However, that's it for the positives because the food is mediocre, and suspiciously speedily served. Definitely not prepared for you, and likely waiting under a foodheater to be served, enabling them to serve you as soon as possible, to ensure you get out of there as quickly as they can to get the next in line seated. Then we get to to service - by a mile this establishment has the most unfriendly and revenue focused waiters ever. Literally everyone is either hating their job, or hating the people they serve. Rude and eager to get you your food and then hush you away. Extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming, so much so that their famous wines are utterly unable to compensate for the worthless service. That's how you go from hero to zero in the...
