Wilderer Alm — Restaurant in Sankt Michael im Lungau

We've eaten there a few times, very nice food and waiters. But, there's always a but....despite having been assured by the waiters that the kitchen is open until at least 8 pm, even longer if there's a crowd. Then, tonight we arrive at 6.30, and they say that the boss told them to close the kitchen. Needless to say that we came with a couple of very hungry children, outside was a moderate snowstorm, and very few other options for dinner. So... This was very sloppy, unprofessional and left an extremely bitter feeling.

OK... this Year was ok (February 2023)... the food was fine as always, nice atmosphere, nice waiters... we went there a few times for lunch as a pause from skiing. We didn't try to go there in the evening, and it looked closed in...

I don't understand why they don't install info that the tables in front of the stage are unmanned and you can only pay in cash?!??🤔 It wasn't full, but we still watched up to four members of staff at times smoking, drinking wine and making out with each other. Then we sat down closer and the staff she told us in our native language that outside the garden they serve only when they want and they don't want and the ATM is supposedly 50m away/close 😳 We fled here from the Czech Krkonoše Mountains before such behavior. I guess the staff is burnt out and demotivated... shame, nice location pubs and drinks good, but for dinner we will go next door, where you can pay...

Staff is extra rude, we were having a meal and they rushed us and sent us out because of a "reservation". A staff repeatedly hit one of us because he was leaning on the table as a sign of not being allowed to sleep. They are racist to slavic people and the boss threatened us with force. Also, the prices are through the roof. They also refused to give is the book...
