Only go here if you want to eat Spaghetti Bolognese...
We had dinner here early January 2025. Overall a disappointing experience, with the exception of the waiter who was very attentive. I would avoid going here and spend your money elsewhere.
Our Margaritas were mostly a big hump of ice and not a lot of drink in there. Three small zips and it was gone (for EUR 11 per drink...). We mentioned it but they didn't do anything about it.
The Fajitas (beef) were mostly grilled vegetables with sadly a very small amount of beef meat chunks in it. I believe we counted 8 cubes of approx 2x3 cm. Rest was all onion and bell pepper. The tortillas were cold and hard(ish). The Guacamole served was so little it was gone in 1 tortilla (and I'm not a big eater). There was no cheese served (no cheddar or normal cheese). When asked there was only Feta and Blue cheese available ......very weird. And that for EUR 32.
My daughter had the Nachos. It was served with regular Nacho's chips, the one from the bag you buy in the supermarket with a drizzle of garlic sauce, some small amount of melted cheese and a tiny amount of Guacamole. Full disappointment.
Our other child had kids' Spaghetti. That was enjoyable she said. So no issues there.
The waiter was nice and attentive but didn't really solve any problems we had with the food or the drinks.
Overpriced and not a great experience. We won't go back. Our advice is, avoid this place and spend your...
Read moreWe had dinner here a few days ago and we were disappointed. The restaurant looks really nice. The service was friendly. The interior is modern but the benches are too low, so I took a chair. The prices are quite high for a Mexican restaurant so we were hoping the quality would be high. The house wine was fine but the appetizer was frozen inside, so not fresh(out of the fridge into the frying pan). We send it back and it came back hot. We ordered a fajita and a burrito for main dish. The ingredients were almost identical for both! The fajitas were really not like they should be. Many ingredients like the guacamole were not fresh. The burrito was not too Mexican either. This Restaurant needs a Mexican cook! The Mexican food is like the food served in a restaurant were they serve kebab, schnitzel and pizza’s as well. Too bad because the Serfaus would benefit from a good Mexican Restaurant, but Arriba is not there yet.... I would say to the owner, get a proper Mexican cook, lower your prices and the place will be full...
Read moreA throughly disappointing dinner. From a purely quality of food perspective, the restaurant is more than 2 stars. The food was not bad, it’s just not authentic Mexican. We tried the tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, and they all had the same basic veggie foundation: green beans, carrots, eggplant, broccoli, zucchini, and a very small amount of kidney beans. Most of these are not present in authentic Mexican food of this variety. Everything tasted very similar, and it was good enough, but again, not real Mexican food.
I also tried their margarita: 90% ice, they did not salt the glass, or ask if I wanted it salted. I would be surprised if they if they even had a full shot of tequila in it. Taste was good enough again, but it was fairly small and not worth the price.
If you’re looking for some real Mexican food, don’t bother coming here. If you just want a change of pace from schnitzel or kaiserschmarrn, then you can consider...
