The town stinks - at least it did when we were there at 10pm. Rather unfairly I thought it was the first hotel we tried that was the problem, but it was a pervasive air throughout that part of the town. ||||We finally found the Muse Hotel. It is horribly expensive for what we have been used to (which is Moldova) but €100 cheaper than the Ibis at Vienna airport. ||||It also turned out to be one of the cheapest hotels around St P.||||The room was clean, the bathroom excellent, and the check in guy was extremely helpful. ||||In the morning the free breakfast was superb - extensive and varied. ||||Now this place is not the Ritz but neither does it charge like it. And I had just driven 1000kms and would have slept in a ditch if it was dry and had wifi. ||||But I would definitely return to this hotel if I ever had a desire to visit a stinky town again (it was fine in the morning.) ||||Car park at the rear and double glazing; good...

Bei einem so billigen Zimmer, noch dazu mit Frühstück rechne ich normal mit dem schlimmsten. Hatte da so mal so ein Erlebnis. Zum Glück trat dies beim MUSE nicht ein. Habe ich was zum Meckern? Natürlich. Das die Mariazellerstraße viel befahren, da können die Besitzter nichts dafür. Das die Wände dünn sind, vor allem die Brause des Nachbarn klingt wie ein donnernder Wasserfall, ist nun mal so. Auch Geräusche vom Gang bekommt man sehr gut mit. Aber wir sind hier in einem Altbau. Wer seine ungestörte Ruhe sucht wird nicht fündig. ||||Das es in den Zimmern heiß ist könnte am Sommer liegen. Eine Klimaanlage kann man sich bei dem Preis nicht erwarten. Dies währe aber vielleicht die nächste brauchbare Investition des Besitzers. Mobile Kühlgeräte für innen. Die Matratze ist für meinen Geschmack zu hart. ||||Auf der haben Seite. Der bereits erwähnte Gratis Parkplatz hinterm Hotel, welcher auch genug Platz bietet, voraus gesetzt man parkt ordentlich. Der schnelle Check in mit gut funktionierenden Schlüsselkarten. Sauberer Marmor im Stiegenhaus. ||||Das Einzelzimmer ist groß (108) mit einem breiten Einzelbett, 2 Kissen. Die Einrichtung einfach. Schrank, Nachttischchen, kleiner Schreibtisch mit Stuhl. Zimmersafe vorhanden. Die moderne LED-beleuchtung fällt auf. TV war etwas Komplex ging dann aber. Sauberkeit war gut, Zimmer war gemacht. Den "Finger über Türrahmen" haben sie zwar nicht bestanden, aber lassen wir mal.||||Bad ist eher klein, aber auch modern. Dichte Brause, funktionierender Dunstabzug, Duschgel wird gestellt. Verfließt wurde wohl auch erst vor kurzen. Der Duschkopf könnte mal wieder abgewischt werden (Kalkreiniger) ||||Das Frühstück ist ordentlich. Spiegelei, Rührei, Kartoffeln. Vorsicht, Marmelade, Honig und Steichwurst befindet sich in den Laden unter den warmen Speisen, und können leicht übersehen werden. Die Auswahl für den Preis beachtlich.||||Bleibt noch die Bar. Gegessen haben wir nichts, aber nach einem sportlich Tag noch ein paar Gläser gestemmt. Zur Eile wurden wir nicht gedrängt, auch wenn die Sperrstunde schon vorbei war. Ich muss dazu sagen, es dürfte sich um einem Familienbetrieb handeln, den das Personal am Abend sowie in der Früh und am Nachmittag unserer Ankunft war das gleiche.||||Eine Bewertung ist immer ein Preis Leistungs Vergleich. Und hier fällt dieser Vergleich sehr positiv aus und haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Obwohl ich es nicht gerne mache, aber da ich keinen großen Kritikpunkt finde, zücke ich...
