Steakhaus 21 — Restaurant in Stadt Dornbirn

Booking a table was a breeze - just a quick Google search and a simple click for same-day reservations! Upon arrival, we discovered the restaurant had two distinct sections: a vibrant lounge area for drinks and cocktails, and the inviting main dining room. The staff was incredibly kind and served us a delicious red wine that perfectly complemented the outstanding steak we ordered. It's safe to say this establishment serves the best steak in the entire region! The meat was fresh, expertly cooked - as if it came straight from the chef's recipe book. We savored a 400g Fillet and a 200g fillet steak, both of which were divine. The sauces were flavorful, and the menu was impressively well-designed and easy to navigate, making our selection a breeze. We truly appreciated the user-friendly layout and detailed descriptions. SATURDAY NIGHT DISAPPOINTMENT - Table booked off we set on long drive specifically to try this restaurant. It was extremely busy with brave souls even sat outside on a late October evening. PLUS POINTS - The greeter/waiter was very pleasant and obviously enjoying his job. MINUS POINTS - Service was good overall but starter and wine arrived before our aperitif's. The place was busy and loud but was devoid of atmosphere. Quite open plan and no nooks where you could enjoy a cosy dinner for two. Food was acceptable but nothing there that made me say wow. The leaf spinach I ordered turned out to be creamed and as for the the creme brûlée Ive had better from the supermarket. CONCLUSION - Overall we were disappointed. If you cannot cook or you do not enjoy doing so, then I suggest you do not open a restaurant. At Steakhaus 21, we ordered a Fiorentina for two, which was a whopping 120 euro. All the meat was burnt and presented in a very unappetizing way, and when I asked for café de paris I got a piece of frozen butter. There is just no love for food at this place, or an incompetent chef or both. There is only love for making money. It got confirmed once more by the check: Steakhaus is happy to to take your Swiss francs, but only at the worst exchange rate I have ever seen! With 125 euro for a piece of burnt meat and a glass of water, one could safely say that Steakhaus 21 in Dornbirn is a complete rip-off. We won't...
