We visited the restaurant at about noon on a Tuesday, it was almost empty. We aren't super picky eaters, so keep that in mind. The waitress was not super friendly but polite. We ordered a soup, a pizza and some pasta. The soup tasted like a can soup with too much salt. We returned it, we were offered a replacement but weren't in the mood. The pasta was okay although the ingredients were most likely frozen. The pizza was okay when it came to taste but the structure was too mushy. I had some debris in the beer and the foam had some weird spot with off colour. The place seems neglected and not really inviting. It could use some cleaning. To their credit we didn't have to pay for the soup.

Awesome location and great service & food!!! Well worth the walk from town centre to sit in this quaint place with the river Steyr flowing by and the trout swim and the local bird life peacefully meander around you.

Eigentlich hätte uns der Kühlschrank direkt an der Eingangstüre abschrecken müssen - darin stapelweise Pepsi-Dosen (ein klares Indiz darauf dass viele Konsumenten noch nie einen Fuß hier reingesetzt haben!) Diese Pizzeria verdient das Prädikat 'Das ist keine Pizza, das ist IRGENDWAS!' NIE WIEDER!!

Ich habe jahrelang beim Gabriel bestellt aber seit einem Jahr bestelle nichts mehr von ihnen!

Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Gerichte hat sehr stark nachgelassen!

Scaloppine a la Veronese war auf der Unterseite angebrannt! Als ich eine Pizza mit extra Zwiebeln bestellt habe wurden die Zwiebelstücke einfach roh darauf geschmissen! Pizza Unterseite war schwarz angebrannt! Beim Grillteller, Suflaki und Hühnerspieß ist das Fleisch zu trocken gebraten!

Komischer Weise hat früher immer alles gepasst. Vielleicht haben sie einen neuen Koch der sein Handwerk nicht gut kann?

Ich werde in den nächsten Wochen wieder mal bei Gabriel bestellen und überprüfen ob sich etwas zum guten verändert hat.

Es fällt mir nicht leicht so einen negativen Kommentar zu schreiben. Weil die Pizzeria Gabriel bis vor einem Jahr eines meiner Lieblings...
