First time ordering, I got the following: 2 x butter chicken (mild) 2 x Jasmin rice 1 x chicken samosa 2 x chapati
The ordering experience was lovely (I’m not sure if the chapati was whole wheat? But it would be nice to state this on the app if it is). The price was also very reasonable!
The delivery was promised at peak time on a Saturday night and they delivered earlier than expected (the time from ordering to delivery was also very reasonable!)
The delivery itself was very nice, with the delivery coming all in one single bag with everything inside being made from recyclable cardboard). There was no leaks, everything that should be crispy was crispy, everything that should be dry was dry and everything that should be moist was moist (A+!)
The food also was so good! The samosas were filled generously with lots of chicken and was so tasty and best of all…crispy!
The butter chicken I ordered was mild and it came mild but still so tasty! Again it was filled generously with chicken! I was really happy with the portion size! The taste was also very authentic and the sauce has a nice texture to it!
The rice came moist and tasty too! The only negative I had was twice I ate a spoonful of rice with the curry and I had a bite which was almost like a filling fell out. Upon further inspection it looked like a burnt piece of rice maybe or a stone? Although it did put a bad end to a very good meal, it would not stop me ordering from them again (I’ll update my review if this happens again of course)
The overall value was really good and I’m looking forward to ordering...
Read moreMy partner and I would order from Austro Inder quite often and were always extremely pleased with any dish we would order. We often looked forward to trying something new while also sticking to some classics. You could tell every dish was made with experience and care. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. I’m not sure if it’s still the same family running this restaurant or if it’s under new ownership but whatever the case may be, it’s really no longer good. We recently ordered again and the meal was quite bland and lacking any authentic Indian flavor. The menu has now removed many of its fun street food-like dishes and vegetarian dishes and is now full of pizzas and burgers, that’s quite sad. You can get pizza and burgers from anywhere but it’s rare to come across a traditional Indian restaurant. The change in menu and also the change in their packaging (what once was paper/cardboard containers is now styrofoam and tons of plastic) is extremely disappointing. We will not be ordering...
