We tried many Heurigen and this was by far our favorite. The view is fantastic and unparalleled. And the wines had a real character (while other Heurigen had a pleasant but consistently characterless profile). Like a lovely little secret and well worth a stop.

„Geh ma zum Emmerich?“ Diese Worte (meisten von meiner Frau oder Freunden benutzt) bedeuten meist den Anfang von vielen schönen Stunden. Sitzen im Weingarten auf Bänken oder (bereitgestellten) Picknickdecken. Nicht viel und sehr gute Weinauswahl zu ehrlichen Preisen zu haben. Eine super Aussicht rein nach Wien am Tage und Lichterspiel am Abend zu genießen. Kleine aber geschmackvolle Happen für Zwischendurch zu bekommen. Wenn dann auch noch „der Typ mit seiner griechischen Geige“ kommt ist es eine stimmige und entspannte Zeit am Nussberg. Bis auf die Mainstream-Winzer sind alle Winzer auf dem Nussberg ein Erlebnis.
