Buschenschank Windischbauer — Restaurant in Vienna

This place is stunning. The Windischbauer family has done a lovely job.

The views are spectacular, and the wine is delicious!

The owner, Klaus, was very gracious with my partner & me - we (stupidly) forgot to bring cash. He was so kind and understanding.

Needless to say, bring cash! And have a wonderful time.

This Buschenschank has in my opinion the best food in the area. Do not expect a large number of choices but the quality of ingredients and preparation sets it apart from the other options you’ll find nearby. The food also matches quite well with their wines! Plus points: you’re sitting basically in the wine yard with great views...

Fantastic view, good wine from good grape - wasn't disappointed given the high rating.

I ordered cheese to the wine, and they even added some slices of plum and served it nicely. I've ended up buying a glass of grape juice for take away.
