Queueing for half an hour during week day that has to be some kind of record well done. Self-service is quite common in taverns. Servings dont include bread, except prelayered breads... Thankfully. One slice of homemade bread costs 1,20€ but it comes pre dried which is nice if you like dry bread. For what was offered it was simply overpriced. The machine which prints the bills broke but no handwritten bill was offered. The spreads tasted great and the "Vinschgerl"(small bread loafs) were amazing and fresh with a crunchy delicious crust. The sausages were not to my liking, the drier the better, nothing special there. The view of vienna is quite beautiful up there.

All in all, everything but the homemadebread was enjoyable especially the Vinschgerl and the spreads. The waiting times are absolutely unacceptable, luckly my company offered the stand in que to order take somebody patient with you I recommend.

Since we arent quite the vine drinkes we cant comment on that, which should be considered if you think about coming here.

One of my favorite vineyards in Vienna! 🍇 It’s a bit on the pricier side (expect to spend around €40–50 if you’re eating), but the food is classic Austrian and very tasty. Excellent wine and a nice self-service setup.

It does get quite busy on weekends, so be prepared for a 10–15 minute wait in the queue to order. There’s plenty of shade. The toilets are very clean (rare for vineyards!), and the overall atmosphere is lovely.

It’s not the easiest place to reach by public transport or car, so plan on a bit of walking or hiking to get here — but totally worth...

A perfect spot to pause and recharge along Vienna’s Stadtwanderweg 1! This charming wine house had a lovely selection of local wines, and I was pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free bread available—such a rare treat on a hike. Even better, they offered a delicious house-made gluten-free almond cake that hit the spot. The setting is peaceful and scenic, making it an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine and a few snacks before continuing the trail. Highly recommended for anyone hiking the path, especially those with dietary...

Beautiful views and great wine, worth the hike from the bottom. If you are venturing through this part of the city from the D line, it's around 1.5 miles from the base to the vineyard. There are tons of other spots (some do not take card, only cash - euro only). The path up is a mix of dirt and street, the views are amazing but you may get slightly muddy if it rains. Worth it completely.
