Fast & Good Wien — Restaurant in Vienna

Our Airbnb was a 5 minute walk from this place so we gave it a go.

The lady taking my order did not speak English. So I was a bit worried I couldn’t place the order after my ability to just say zwei schnitzel was found insufficient. LOL. But she was sweet and tried to show a chicken and pig like in charades so I finally understood she was asking me if I wanted a chicken or pork schnitzel.

The size of the schnitzel was amazing. I’ve never seen one that big. But I’ve also not had other schnitzel in Vienna before so maybe it’s normal?

I personally enjoyed the meal and because it was massive we had left...

I ordered some things on TakeAway and they refused my order after an hour, and after I called them and they told me that they couldn't speak english because no one knows, ok it wasn't a problem. But they were trying to make me understand that it is my fault that I didn't enter the number of accomodation, when everything was allright, adress, location, number. So...

Die Preise sind wegen der Inflation MASSIV gestiegen.. am meisten erschreckt mich der Schnitzelburger. 2021/2022 noch 5,90 (für ein kleines Schnitzel mit einem Salatblatt und bisschen Mayo boch ok. Mittlerweile kostet er über 10 Euro (absolut überteuert)

Die horrenden Menüpreise sind sowieso untragbar. Wir hatten echt heftig guster auf Schnitzl, aber diesmal wars das letzte mal.. 2 große Surschnitzel (sind mittlerweile nicht größer als ein normales Schnitzel) mit Pommes und Almdudler: für über 50!! Euro. Leider schmeckt es eben echt gut (einfach immer derselbe Geschmack, was wir sehr bevorzugen, aber zu diesen Preisen einfach maßlos überteuert.. Teuerung hin oder her, aber das ist lächerlich.. kein anderes Restaurant wo wir regelmäßig bestellen, ist so...
