Had lunch here wanting to explore some schnitzel dishes. Service was very friendly and welcoming, but the place felt a little dead and also smelt of stale cigarette smoke. We ordered the Wiener schnitzel, Mailänder Schnitzel (pork), and a stuffed chicken dish. The Wiener schnitzel was quite dry, with the other two dishes being soggy and uninteresting. Gloopy sauces and anaemic looking meat. The Bratkartoffeln were very large, and judging by their appearance I think they were lightly deep fried or heavily shallow fried. The parsley potato’s were also equally lacklustre. The pea soup that was included as a starter was very tasty however. Perhaps we had a different chef or experience as others, as the consistency of positive reviews suggests higher quality. We went to this restaurant due to these positive reviews - and were disappointed.
For the price, and to fill one’s belly I think it could be ok, but In terms of food quality, the current rating of 4.6 does not apply. Better food can be found elsewhere for much cheaper...

We liked that it's got a friendly atmosphere and the food was good value, with the soup included...

Can't wait to come again and try their...
